Bravo! I also practice Xingyi Quan and have worked on the Wu Xing Lian Huan Quan since 1974. But watching you I have learned some new interpretations and applications.
Que privilegio aquel que entrena con quién maneja los principios y el fluir de los movimientos tan elegantemente enseñados con los porqué y como de cada movimiento 👍😎.
being a Xing-I student for a number of years I had to save this video ..for hopefully when I return back to my practice..currently studying Wu-Dang tai chi/chi gong..to heal..but I miss my Xing-I..especially my animal forms..san ti shi and pi chuan ..thank you for sharing your invaluable wisdom on this plain looking..but very mysteriously profound art in practice..🙏
@@DanteBasili yeah😀for sure..I love this system..I hope to return back to it soon..but tai chi opened a new world for me in terms of the differences of energy..between Xing-I bagua and tai chi..hopefully I can understand further during my studies.and explore more in depth other then the basic..hard..middle..and soft energies.in their channelling of internal force...I really love your channel..and your analytical approach to teaching..thank you..❤️🙏
Excelente transmisión y entrenamiento!!!✨✨✨ Estuve entrenando esta forma poco tiempo, pero veo que me faltaban detalles muy importantes para dejar pasar. Muchas gracias
My main focus has always been Tai Chi and Kali, But I have Practiced Hsing-I Ch'uan Linking Form you show for 35 years and believe it to be a great addition to any self-defense system! Thank you for the great instruction you always provide (I got the arm drag, but not the sweep before pounding in the Form.) Thank you for the details, I have saved this to a growing list of videos of yours! Peace and Happiness always!
Still love this video....it's so useful. Practicing Chinese martial arts is very expensive in my country. So, that's one reason I practice ITF Taekwon-Do. That and the fact that I love Taekwon-Do very much. But, videos like this show me that Taekwon-Do has a STRONG Chinese martial art influence. A lot of the hand techniques, stances , etc are ultimately of Chinese origin. Either indirectly from Shotokan Karate or perhaps, directly as well. I'm thinking that there is some direct influence. Any ways the information provided in videos like this have Taekwon-Do and martial arts in general, more informative, more helpful and way more interesting. So, thank you for all your good work Dante. I really appreciate it. Grazie.
That's how it is, I have dedicated my whole life to this Art, and without my Masters and travels to China in the 80s I would not have gotten anywhere. 🙏🏽
How many martial arts have you practiced? I have seen in some of your videos that you seem to have knowledge of Wing Chun, Taijiquan and Baguazhang too.
I loved this, I have practiced this form and have missed some of the applications being taught. So it was great to see and understand how the leg sweeps come into play. I'll have to see the others videos on this by Dante Basili. ua-cam.com/play/PLEW9diAWRFZtD4pu777uHX_OOAOZlYAo3.html
That circular movement at about 1:11 where the hands are brought together at the height of the abdomen..what is its application? If it is just a punch to the kidney with , for example, the left fist then why is the right fist brought to the left fist in an encircling manner?
Ciao David. From the punch to the Joint lock, from sweeping with the leg by pulling with the hand (as I show immediately after) to grabbing the opponent by the neck dragging him down ... there are many applications of each single movement, because Wu Xin Quan it is indeed a synthesis, five essential concepts. And the concepts can be developed in many techniques. In this case what matters is not the technique, but the concept of Fire, in its opening and closing in an explosive way.
@@DanteBasili OK, I understand thank you. One of the reasons I asked is that I practice ITF Taekwondo and there's a technique almost exactly like the one discussed in my 1st Dan pattern Kwang Gae. So, I was quite curious. You've provided me much insight, so, thank you sir. Grazie.
I play Tai Chi and this Sifu knows his stuff. Strength, balance, speed, agility all in harmony. Ty for the demonstration.
I really enjoy how you demonstrate and teach the applications for Xing Yi and Tai Chi especially. grazie molto!

Hi Davide, I'm glad to be useful to you on your journey in Martial Arts 🙏🏽
This senior man is learned the real core fight technical from Chinese master.

@@DanteBasili Barely there are people like you love the traditional Chinese's martial art.

In more than fifty years of practicing things, many can be learned. It's natural. 🙏🏽
@@DanteBasili haha yes indeed!! invidio i tuoi studenti, non ho potuto imparare molto da Xing Yi
Quale ramo di Hsing Yi è questo?
崩、哼、金鸡亮翅、炮、钻、狸猫上树--五行连环。

Non c'è uno stile più efficace di un altro 🙏🏽 Forse solo stili più adatti di altri in determinati contesti.
Thanks for yours videos. ¿Is Sun style? (Excuse my english)
