You have done pinned clutchpack and plates replacement of clutches. Which one in your opinion was better in terms of power transfer to rear and reliability?
They both do the same job equally as well. Pinning is more time consuming and requires a welder. Locking plates are more expensive but quicker and don't need a welder.
how you like the phantom grip? Think it could be used without locking the clutchplates? Also, bro you need some "cutting" fluid. Will make your bits last WAY longer.
Hi does it have to be from a manual transmission to use for awd build? I see many automatic from crv available. I want to start an awd build for a crx. Just checking for info thx.
The crv diff worked fine with the 900 whp? Ive seen people post about breaking the part in the clutch pack at like 450 whp multiple people but you had no issue? My brothers doing the same setup on his ek and we already got the clutchpack welded and a hub city kit
Eliminates a week spot in the assembly. The clutch’s can slip and you lose power to the rear end. The AWD isn’t real AWD in the CRV’s. Only about 30% or so reach’s the rear end. And you’ll lose some of that 30% to the clutch’s slipping. This is one step in the process to having a limited slip read end
Bro thanks 🙏 for making this vid 🙌🏻...would u plz do a vid of d gearbox u will be using for this project wen that time reaches....

Hi. Why would those axles not stay in?

I didnt install the phantom grip. I agree on the cutting fluid.

The rear diff is same, auto and manual 🤟 mine was 99 auto
Cool thanks for d info, I will start with that thx.
What the best crv diff year ??
How’d it work out? Reliably wise and If the tires dragged when turning?
It worked great, no issue. You will need a viscous coupler

I never had an issue with it.
I think he means that some people breaks it but they haven't a viscous ?!
Bro what year drive freelander drive shaft??
02-06
@@hondaresource thanks 1000 times over bro 🙏🏿
Are you using a straight driveshaft or are you running a viscous coupler?
Viscous. I have a couple freelander shafts
Hi, for the clutch pack, is it the same size with the transmission clutch? Because its hard to find in indonesia
I dont think so
Any suggestion for the replacement ?
@@adityagautama3782 I'm not sure.
How’s it working? Has it been reliable?
I still haven't finished the car.
Did you weld the rear diff?
Yes, just not in this video
How was it to drive it around no axle braking while turning??? Where did u get your axles thank you
@@octaviotavarez1 I have insane 500hp axles. I haven't broken any, one wheel just chirps when turning hard. I try not to make super sharp turns
What exactly does this do ?

So I just got a 1999 crv differential so this works on it just like this? My bad just read through comments lol.
Yep. This is a crv diff. Same thing I did for the diff in my CR-V too
That hade to vibrate
Can you pin the diff on the newer, like 2010 CR-vs
I would assume so, but I haven't personally.
Flops and no gloves, not smart. But that's exactly how I always do it! Hot sparks burn the top of foot!
