Askren has expressed interest in rematching Jorge. They could do it under Jorge's own promotion.
Would the UFC allow the fight to happen under Jorge's promotion? If Not, would Masvidal be okay with tarnishing one of his iconic wins? Because no matter what happens in the rematch, he will never top that performance.

I think he's gonna fight for his own Gamebread promotion which is sponsored by UFC. He can't go fight in BKFC or another promotion unless Dana signs off on it.. He didn't look good against Burns or Colby either in his last fights either so it will be interesting to see what he's gonna do
I mean, to be fair Masvidal can't compete with the grapplers at the top of the division, his takedown defense is too poor. He never really should have been an actual contender to begin with, let alone given two title shots. He only did so, because he gained popularity after that Askren KO, and the UFC rankings are largely determined by popularity, not actual skill.

Jorge ain't doing bare knuckle, he may box but has already stated several times his hands can't withstand the impact from all the previous times he broke them.

Biggest realistic fight for Masvidal. A UFC 300 fight with Gaethje. Former BMF who never lost the title vs current BMF at a milestone event at catchweight. Two exciting guys. Two marketable guys and also serves as a "revenge" match as Dustin is and Mas are training partners / friends. They can sell it that way anyhow. Maybe 160 or 165. Otherwise, if you run it by rank, he can't line up with the big names.
Masvidal doesn't deserve that fight. He's not lineal bmf either Usman knocked him out and took that title until he lost to leon
