Despite his vicious knockouts against Till and Askren, he impressed me the most against Nate. He was so sharp. He showcased both, strength and technique. And wasn't tired either.
Agree. If you compare Conor vs Diaz against Masvidal vs Diaz. You see what a true welterweight does to Diaz. Back then everybody was saying Conor vs Masvidal. Masvidal destroys Conor imo. Thats pure weight class difference (even tho Conor fought at welterweight, he's more of a natural lightweight to me).
@@rogergargantua don't get me wrong, Conor fucked nate up pretty bad too in the second fight and masvidal didn't have r4 and r5 with Diaz, where he usually is the most dangerous. But masvidal fought till for example, and knocked him out. Imagine Conor vs. Till would already look so off with the size difference. But on the other hand, masvidal fought at 155 too I think. Anyway, I don't think Conor has any chance at 170 except the guys like cowboy who can cut down to 155 too, and aren't that big.

Watching Masvidal is a treat. The way he just ducks and dodges those strikes; it’s almost like he’s reading the dude’s mind.
He also doesn't waste any strikes. Even among top dudes you tend to see a lot pf pattycake and empty strikes just to keep movement going and stay on their toes but with Masvidal every strike he throws has intent to kill behind it
