Butchers Tenderloin aka hanger steak is a great cut.We sell quite a bit of it in our butcher shop. Has to be peeled and there is a thick nerve that runs through it. When cut and cooked correctly you can’t beat it. Great Video 👍

Looked amazing! Will definitely pay them a visit. Personally, the higher the fat content in the cut, the more I lean towards medium. I like the fat to be more rendered into the meat and not chew raw fat.
Now that looked amazing UA!! The bark on that steak was yummy can't find that cut of steak in too many places that do it right ! The side dishes were amazing as well so if two people get a hanger steak and split two sides which is more than enough for two people you're in business. I'll be going to Williamsburg my next trip back east !!❤
Yep they're hanger steak is one of the best steaks I've ever had! I think one hanger steak and 2 sides is definitely enough food for two people, but if you both really like meat you both might find the meat portion a tad small.

That whole meal looked excellent! So, you need to try the mortadella sandwich! I make one very similar at home (I actually paused the video to read it!) But I do mine on toast, more like a grilled cheese. Next time you're in Flushing, I'll make you one! As for the steak, that looked great! Really was cooked perfectly, and both side dishes looked great. I agree that both really creamy spinach, and crispy have their place. I think I'd love these! I actually deep fry Brussels Sprout leaves as a snack lol... Anyway, now I'm rambling. Another great review sir!

Hangar steak is my fav for steak and eggs. very flavorful and tender. gunna have to go here for brunch/lunch - Ive only been here once for dinner. So ill have to check it out for lunch. I saw menu said steak and eggs, so green light for that - I live on the complete opposite side of Brooklyn, near mill basin so it's a troop

Interesting cut- does look a tad bit rare- Kind of reminds me of Tri tip out in California- great sear and a nice medium rare - and can season tri tip well- hanger and tri tip are underrated!
I've been eating a carnivore diet for the last 2 years and living in the NYC metro area I thought I would try this cut for the first time. Price wise its less than other cuts, however the $29 cut I got was mayble 6-8 ozs. It was somewhat tender, it wasn't tough at all. It seems they marinate it and add some sort of vegetable spice to it. I eat pretty much the same foods every day; ground beef, ribye, NY Strip and eggs. This steak didn't set well in my stomach (if you know what I mean) and I'm attributing it to the whatever was in the marinate. I wouldn't give this steak high marks. My wife was with me, she is not carnivore and didn't have the same digestive issues I had. She had the same cut, but with eggs which was maybe 3-4 oz of steak (for $27). She had no issues, but said our steak at home from the local market is much better. Oh, she did love the pan-fried mash which I tried and have to agree.

After watching the clip, I did try the 3 exact orders that he had ordered. To me, the steak is perfect cook but a little chewy. The cream spinach is ok but not like WoW. I like the pan fried mashed potatoes but too salty for me. The service and atmosphere is wonderful! Overall, not even one order that makes me to come back. Nonetheless, I still enjoy watching UA EAT one in a while!

Yes it was a very good price! Too bad it didn't come with sides, but the steak itself was awesome and absolutely worth $29
Part of the reason why it’s a lower price is because it’s not Manhattan. Location can be a big factor

Hanger steak is a classic in France, you can get it from beef or veal, the second being eventually cheaper. Taste great with shallots.
