@@livinginasheville we never had a problem with who was poor, and who was rich. I treated everyone the same when I worked in town in Woodstock, everybody did. It’s sad that many comments are saying that it’s too difficult to live there.
Thank you for reconfirming that downtown Asheville remains absent of black residents. Do your kids know that black people exist? And how come dogs are welcomed and black people aren't? Recommendation: Be kind to black people too.
This is a really relevant observation, and I just finished a nine week course about building bridges between the black community. It has been dwindling over the years as the culture has been dampened. Yes, my children have black friends.

Laughing seed around 30 yrs old. I worked at Stone Soup which is now the Mellow Mushroom, SS closed in 94 and Laughing Seed was open then.
Isn’t that amazing? That laughing seat is that old and the vegetarian food has been popular in Asheville that long!
