    Even as an advanced Obsidian user, the focus on refactoring help to bring me back to basics. Thanks Justin.

    You get to the point within the first 5 seconds of the video. I subbed based on that alone.

    Hi, can you access your obsidian notes between devices or each device has its own datas ? I'm wondering cause there is no login and the files are stored locally. Tks

      You can sync using a 3rd party solution like iCloud, Git, or Syncthing (Dropbox/Google Drive only work on Android due to iOS restrictions), but the easiest way is to use Obsidian’s sync service. It’s end-to-end encrypted and syncs reliably in my experience.

    So do you also use obsidian for studying I imagine? Or pretty much anything that goes in your head? 👀

      I use obsidian primarily for areas of interest I’m learning about intentionally. Anything that’s information I will either develop over time or want to refer back to.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH! Obsidian has a little barrier of entry with all it's shortcuts and minimalistic interface, I wish this video was linked from the initial installation or on their website

    Good video thank you. Seems like Obsidian will be great for some people but not me. Sorry to say it, because I get that's it's beautiful, just way way way too complicated. In the future tools like this will just evaluate your text and just work vs. needing markup / refactoring etc.

    Nice walkthrough, but I immediately wanted to thumbs down when you switched from dark mode to light mode. Why blind us?

    • @EffectiveCo
      @EffectiveCo  3 місяці тому +12

      I’ve gotten feedback that dark mode is hard to see on video, so that’s why. Sorry for blinding you - hopefully you can still see 🙈

      @@EffectiveCo In both modes, the 'lines' and dots of the graph view are general too thin and not zoomed into when there are say a dozen or so nodes...
