People who do not hunt especially bow hunt do not have a clue the amount of work hunting is, especially when it comes to hanging stands. I commend your commitment and effort you took in hanging your stands as a bow hunter of more years than probably your age, l know where your coming from. Now for the shooting lanes my wife always says”you really know how to have fun” when l tell her of some of my experiences then she laughs. Like l say if your not a bow hunter, you don’t have a clue. Iv always found it to be easier to put the bottom of the ladder against the tree u won’t it in an then just walk the stand up the tree once you have it up the pull the bottom out to level the stand

Have one of y’all climb up with the top part of the stand and the other person walk the ladder to position? Just a thought, but I hope everyone gets a deer this season! Best of luck and safe hunting!
Little tip as I carry in and out ladder stands by myself a lot to hunt on public. Put the whole thing together and then lift it up and over and rest the side bars of the ladder on your shoulders. I balance ladder stands on my shoulders like that and carry them in up to a mile, works very well. With the two of you it would have been very easy and not so awkward to do.

Nice videos! If you hang up your latter stand for opening day that morning when you go to it and you see someone other then your family in it how do you approach them? and what do say for them to get off? Anyone with similar experience can help answer my question would be helpful. TIA
You can cary all the peaces by strapping them all together and it makes it a lot quieter also. Its got to be hard to film and tote with one hand but you got it done and had a lot of fun too. Hard work = Success.....

I don't want to seem over bearing. Or Bossy. I put my stand together and put the bottom of stand at base of tree. My daughter stands on the bottom rung, as I pick up the seat and walk it up to the tree. I mean all about the easiest way with out busting a gut. Hope it work if you desire to use this info.
She obviously did not read the installation instructions, and left some hardware at home. Yet, she insisted everything was done correctly, so I see she doesn’t accept or learn from constructive criticism very well.

You and Brittany are fun to watch but also scary. I always put the base of the ladder against the tree then pick up the seat and walk towards the tree pushing up on the ladder rungs until the seat is against the tree. Then pull the both of the ladder away from the tree until the stand is level and secure it in place.
Put feet of ladder stand against base of tree , then walk it up until its straight up, adjust, secure support bar, b4 ascending. You look alot like Emma Watson.
I went out tonight, sat for 3 hours. At 6:30 I decided to leave and head back to camp. My ass was getting tired standing because my stand doesn't have a seat, so I have to stand. Literally as I was climbing down the tree a buck took off about 50 yards to the west of me. I was so fucking pissed. I even took one good scan before I took my bolt out of my crossbow. Didn't see shit. He looked like a decent size buck. Ran off too fast before I could get a really good look at him tho. I'm so disappointed lol. All I had to do was stand there for 5 more minutes and I would have saw him but due to the density of the area and all the white pine around me-- I didn't see him. Fucking A.

When carrying the stand out. I strap the two loose sections to the top of the attached section. Makes life a little easier.

I was screaming this at the TV watching. This works because the bottom of the ladder pushes against the tree and you just walk it up step by step.

Put the thing together at the truck and two of you can drag it to the tree
I lay mine down and walk it up but it was funny watching u 2
you need to put the ladder on the ground at the bottom of the tree and the seat part out from the tree. Then lift seat and walk it toward the tree.
