- The tragic news broke that Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, who had breast cancer, had sadly passed away at the age of just 39 in a statement revealed by her mother. Sarah had previously revealed in August 2020 that she had been diagnosed with the disease and shared in her autobiography how she initially put off getting medical advice when she first found lumps under her arm in December 2019. We remember Sarah’s life, from those of us on the panel who knew her personally, and reflecting on the importance of checking any health concerns.

Interesting to hear frankie talk about Sarah here. I never listened to Girls aloud until recently but I was a HUGE fan of the Saturdays
When Sarah passed I started checking myself and found a lump on boob. It is a cyst but I wouldn’t have checked before but because of her age I was like I need to check because you can’t be too careful
Absolutely a loss Sarah was a brilliant singer. I cant get a mamogram because im in a wheelchair
shocking to hear that, I personally think and although I am a male im always passionate about women's issues AND have a history of depression and being around girls with many problems health problems over the years, the media does sometimes go too far in relation to all the runs and health checks.many women then develop OCDs and associated health issues.
