I don't know why this channel doesn't get more followers and views. Erin is very professional and sounds extremely polished, as good a reviewer as you will find online today.
Thank you so much Erin for this review, I've literally spent weeks on research for a printer that fits my needs with no success, and this video saved me!
Hi Erin, I have figured out my problem with the ink. I will ignore the paper issue since it prints anyway! I found another vid here that basically said to dip the print head in warm water and clean it with q-tips! Worked like a champ. I had to do what the app would not, ok! I must admit I was afraid to try this but what did I have to lose since it was useless anyway. I will be writing to the supplier today. Thanks anyway!! 😇
Erin is an excellent reviewer..she is so thorough it’s unreal..she always hits all the questions i personally would have and always gives a solid answer..awesome job.
which one do you choose? A: hardcopy of a file or evidence B: have them on a tablet and your phone even image seems to be on our tablet and smartphone rather than print them and put them in the panel
You should have provided more details. E.g., cost/page, resolutions, etc. And definitely more about their wonky subscription service. I got the virtually identical 2742e a while ago, and setup was a confusing mess. Whether on purpose, or just through HP's stupidity, the options re the service were very unclear. I'm still not entirely sure what's going on! And...the printer just died on me. After some scratching around, I found a vaguely applicable tip about reconnecting it to the router using the WPS button. Easy once you know what to do, but try finding the info... Ugh. It's not like I did anything that could have caused the issue...
I have this printer. I'm having a problem with getting a sewing pdf to print to size. Does the printer print to actual size because I can't find any information on it.
Seems your dog is very smart with his choice. This basic printer seems to hit most all of basic & home users needs for an under $100.00 printer. Don’t like any subscription service & wish it had a duplex mode.
What I don't like and is becoming more & more vogue Dan is auto-renewable products ($) such as editing programs like Filmora. I'm 74 and subject to kickin' the bucket any day. I don't want my wife to get hit with auto-renewables and not be able to figure out where they came from to cancel.
super thorough review! sounds like HP found a way to cut the costs by having us use our phones as the screen. but that's not so bad, at least the quality of the print seems to be good. do you know anything about the printer heads and if they are known to dry easily on these? that's what happened to my epson and why I won'y go back to them. thank you, bless you.
I'm guessing the usual proprietary ink cartridge format (i.e. 3rd party cartridges / refills, not supported) applies? Would also be interested in "copies per cartridge" figure due to the usual trade off between inkjets (cheap printer, but lots of expensive ink cartridges) vs lasers (dearer up front but lots of copies per toner cartridge).
As far as 3rd party ink itself, I've been having very good luck. In fact, I've never had problems with any of them. I just look at the number of ratings and how many are in the 5-star class (Amazon). I don't pay any attention to the one-star bums. They're usually the ones who can't put a hammer to a nail.
I have this model (windows10) and it suits my needs and had always worked pretty well. With my last cartridge change (Not HP) things have now gone haywire! The HP Smart App will not recognize the paper in the tray but if asked to print it will use the paper. The app will not complete the "clean printheads" (pretends it is trying - forever) and though once I got it to do something, it did print a horrible "print quality" sheet to scan... to align the print heads... it will not recognize this sheet. Grrr! So it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and does not care!!! Here I am stuck in the middle. Though the cartridge was new, the copies coming out now are barely visible or when they, are the lines are mostly half-visible (top vs bottom). This until will be a year old on 8/27/23... sheesh. Not concerned about the ack of warranty; just would like it to work! Help if you can please.
HP has been updating its printers so that more often than not they will simply not work with aftermarket or non-HP cartridges. The only solution I can recommend is to try an HP branded cartridge and see if everything goes back to normal.
It's nice having WIFI in a printer. I just wish that they had Ethernet ports. Then, there's less configuring that would be needed. Also, most people use their printers with their computers. I rarely use a printer with my phone. That's the one thing that you're missing in this review.
Does this have the option for manual double sided printing? My old cheap HP printer had that option in settings - printing one side, then a pop-up window to continue after manually reversing and feeding the page(s) back in to print the other side.
I'm trying to set it up. I didn't see this site so didn't put ink in first! The ink outside door is locked, while I'm trying to set it up! Please Help. I DO need to print an airline ticket!
From personal experiences I can say that HP printers are disposable trash. Also, they offer no support, only canned useless responses. Moreover, their ink cartridges are the most expensive. Avoid this brand printers at all cost. You'll be glad you did.
i just realized that my credit card is being charged a monthly fee,, and that my printer wont printe without paying it. I have the hp ink and went to print notes from a lecture and it wont let me, this is not what i thought it was. I was looking simply to copy scan and print old school.
I shouldn't have to pay to print if I already paid for the printer. H.P. president said he wanted to get info the monthly pay busines. Even if you don't print enough, the printer still shut down because I didn't need to purchase more ink..I'm a home user, not a business. Only wanted to use print as I needed not be forced to use the printer..SHAME ON H.P.

Hi Erin,I always find HP printers easy to use but prefer the paper to be in a internal lower tray out of sight,it looks much tidier!😜
That’s definitely true
Nice and crisp review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
She has a reporter/anchor voice! This is a great review
I used to work as a news reporter! Thanks for watching.

My dog is pretty clever 😆

4:18 You made a little bit of an error there. You put the paper to the bottom right corner of the scanner, not top left... :)
Thanks very much for this. Very helpful review. Excellent.
Glad it was helpful!
Do you have some reviews you have done on UA-cam for higher priced HP OfficeJet Color Printers that use Photo Paper?

I know I am super late, but can anyone tell me if it's better to just get the New version the 2855e or should I go with this one?
Thank you Erin.
😃😃😃
Can you hook multiple computers to this printer?
printing... i remember that, but where's the holes down the sides of the paper roll?
😂
Artists and crafters still regularly use printers.
