I have a 3920 CS TH. Someone told me to check out this video as I had a discussion on how I had to modify the ramp to get my HD trike in and out. It appears that Newmar still hasn't improved the ramp. The problem is my trike bottoms out due to the high perch of the ramp. Just wanted to share that. I ended up modifying mine and did send info to Newmar for their consideration.
Hi Gary, we are looking to go this route. We have a Harley Davidson California side car conversion trike. My husband has concerns about the ramp ☹️ do you have any pictures of what you did to modify the ramp?
Me either Craig. They are usually the secondary TV but on this floor plan there just isn't enough room for other viewing angles. You can't compare this coach to other 39' motor homes, you have to compare it to other 29' motor homes because that is your true living space here. Thanks for watching!
On the back bed top loft does it have to go all the way down till it stops to use it? Say if you want to put an office under it can it only go down half it's normal amount and still be used? ( ya I know the ladder would not reach) Also do these ever come with the front lowering bunk over the drivers seats?
I prefer the 4037. I like the 3709 ok but the issue I have with the 3717 is the bed is on the driver's side and, if the people next to you are "Late-night" people, their noise will be right next to your head.
Hey Chris, the huge kitchen window on this floorplan is fantastic. Is it available on the other Canyon Stars, specifically the 3710? I haven't seen the kitchen window extend to behind the cook top on the 3710 or other Canyon Star floorplans. Also, can we special order the Truma water heater on a 3710? And tell Newmar to give us a better looking wet bay on the Canyon Star, like the Kountry Star's and Ventana's and Tiffin Open Roads. That current wet bay looks entry level and doesn't belong on a $200,000 coach!
Thanks for the videos Chris. I'm somewhat disappointed with this one however. You reviewed a toy hauler and made little mention of the actual toy hauler capability and capacity....measurements and methods of securing the toy. Kinda important. I am specifically looking for something to haul a Can Am Spyder. It would be nice to actually see one in the 3927.
Sorry Steve, we are trying to get through this series so we are moving quickly. I did mention the garage is 10' long and 8' wide, and I did mention the adjustable tie down tracks. I should have mentioned the ramp has a capacity of 2500lbs and the garage can hold 1500lbs. You can put another 2800lbs of cargo elsewhere in the RV. (NCC is 4300 lbs) I am no expert on the Can Am Spyder, but according to google it should fit. (L x W x H 109.3 x 61.2 x 57.6 in.) My only question is weather it straddle the step at the front of the garage or if we need to make the step removable. What other questions can I answer?
My bad! There was a portion of the video that ended up on the cutting room floor....the video cut out so I didn't include it. It was the portion where Chris talked about the dimensions. _Toney
The 3709 is the one on my short list. I've been comparing it to the 3747 that I am looking foward to see what will be new with the new Ford V8 and chassis. I'd love to see higher grade options on the Canyon Star like Nova awnings and the diesel style ceiling vents. I guess Newmar's 2021 dealers show will be posponed but look forward to see the new models after the crisis is over. Thanks for your years of great videos.
Ditch the gas stove and the booth table and put in a dishwasher and you have a winner, love the washer and dryer option.

Awesome video, one thing about newmar.. them over head TVs in the cab area.. not a fan all..

I know realistically i'd never use even half the storage space in these RVs, but i want to give my birds the space the deserve 😅
Thanks for the covid lesson

Thanks for this. I'm new to RVing and managed to miss that Newmar has a toyhauler.
You are welcome!

Oops, was that Kool-aid in the shower ? Great video Chris and Toney! Another great paint job! Be well guys !!
Now this is an RV I would seriously consider. Very nice and love the toy hauler aspect

Thanks Chris and Toney....question answered. I imagine the Spyder could be backed in to get around the step cut out.
@@tooter302 can a Smart Car fit in there

Well heck, I'd be willing to pay as much as $215.00 for that fine coach! Very much enjoying this series of videos. I vote for the 3709.
This guy gets paid by the word ;-) Starts at 2:52
