- In today’s video, we’re doing a walk around and overview with the new 2024 BMW X5 M60i! This X5 M60i is finished in individual British Racing Green over Tartufo Extended Merino Leather. It is shown wearing 20” M Star-Spoke wheels, style 740M. The X5 M60i features BMW’s S68 4.4L twin-turbo V8 paired to an 8-speed automatic, which sends power to all four wheels via xDrive and an M sport Differential. The M60i variant of the X5 produces 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to propel the X5 M60i to 60mph in just 4.1 seconds.

Ronny,Is the suspension ride quality as comfortable and smooth as the x5 40i or is it more rigid? Can you get an m60i with 40i suspension?
I have noticed some X5 M60i have heated and cooled cup holders and some don't, even though they are upgraded to the executive package. I am a little confused by that because when I ordered my m60i it had cooled and heated cup holders even though I did not see that on the standard features or on the spec sheet.
I do not see Heated/Cooled cupholders on the website or order guide, so I'd assume they are no longer available.

Thank you! Currently, that is not an option, but it may show up at some point in the future, we're not sure.
I just picked up a 2024 m440, but I couldn't find the digital key function on my BMW app. I read on a forum that they did a recall on this? and newer car doesn't have it, but will release the digital car key function via app update? Can you confirm that? Cuz my dealership was not helpful on this subject.
Possible that your car didn't come equipped with the option from factory. If you look at the window sticker, you'll see "Deletion of BMW Digital Key" listed and a slight price reduction if this is the case for your car. As for adding functionality later via update, I haven't heard of that directly, but it very well may be possible. Either via update or connected drive store perhaps.
that beautiful Launch Edition looks so much better with those calipers than one I saw in same specs with red ones. Don't know why anyone would spend that money incl Ind. paint and not get the B&W but I get it you don't get much to chose from in a Launch model.
B&W is awesome but for many folks H/K is more than enough.
How is the reliability on the N63 used 2021-2022 vs this new S engine. I’m was considering a 2021 or 2022 m550i but was concerned with reliability of the n63
N63 reliability in the newer models is, much, much improved from the earlier, pre-TU versions of the N63. The newer ones found in the G30 5 series have proven to be quite reliable. As with any used car, there's a small chance of having problems, but, if it's been well taken care of, I wouldn't shy away from owning a later N63 car! Also, if you're buying a 21 or 22, you have a few years of warranty left, which you can always extend if you like.
As for comparing to the S68, I can only imagine it'll be even better just based on previous trends of BMW engines... each successive one seems to be more reliable than its predecessor. That said, it hasn't been out very long to really have evidence of that, but I'm fairly certain it'll prove itself to be a reliable power plant!

Old wheels on a new M60i is unacceptable at this price point.
I would definitely like to see this spec on an upgraded wheel option too... but it still looks great regardless!
I really dislike alot the 2 part folding tail gate. When you have a heavy item it just makes it more difficult to reach it over the lower gate. Horrible design. I also wish BMW would put the gas cap on the drivers side as it would make it oh so much easier when pulling up to the pump.
In the settings, you can make it so that the lower part folds down when you open the tailgate. This will solve your problem!
You never need to reach anything over the lower gate. You just lower it.

The cheapest rim option destroys this car. Whoever designed and order such cheap rims for such an expensive X5 SHOULD BE FIRED! They do not belong at BMW. Can’t believe the factory even allows that option. Extremely disappointing.
