Nice video! I was born in India but only lived there for two years before moving to Canada. In North America, all of the major cities (Toronto, NYC, Chicago, Montreal, Pittsburg, DC) have a similar atmosphere. Once you see one city, you've basically seen them all. India is such a change of atmosphere. I would love to visit Mumbai one day!
U made me relive my driving days, while miles away from home. Nothing like Mumbai, nothing like India. Keep up the videos, u bring up those hidden memories!
Thanks for the ride. It was fantastic. Bombay is my city. Love from Pakistan. This is how I want the cities to be. Cities which are not concrete jungles but have some open spaces, clean streets, nice buildings of varying architechture. Nice use of Palm trees. Almost whole streets are lined up with trees. I did not see a single corner where there were no trees. And the trees were trimmed and installed through planning. Keep up the good job
Jay Hind, Jay Maharashtra. Other Cities and their Politicians should consider Mumbai as their role model and development should be brought in every state. India will become unbeatable and will become a prime example for foreigners and pride to Indians.
A few economic facts about Mumbai: (1) The total private wealth of Mumbai is $950 billion, that's nearly 11% of India's total private wealth of $8.23 trillion. That makes it the 12th richest city in the world, ahead of Toronto, Frankfurt and Paris. (2) The nominal GDP of Mumbai is $170 billion, which is half of Pakistan's GDP plus twice of Pakistan's forex reserves. (3) The PPP of Mumbai is $416 billion, making it a highly influential and rich city.
@@nirajgamit8395 New York, kyun, Bangkok, Jakarta ya Kuala Lumpur se bhi kam hai. Udhar China ki 3rd tier city ka bhi GDP per capita Mumbai se zyada hogi, 1st tier cities jaise Shanghai, Shenzhen aur 2nd tier cities ki toh baat hi chodo..
@Shreyaawashere True, but I could not be accused of regarding Mumbai as paradise anyway. These are just statistics which I found impressive at that point in time.

I've been watching these Worli, Parel, Wadala scrapers grow from nothing to just crazy levels in the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure in 10-15 years this skyline will come near touching distance of the best cities in the world. Whoever planned this sea link shot two birds with one stone, traffic easing and introducting travellers to the skyline from afar. Brilliant and I'm super excited as the scrapers just keep getting taller and taller.
+The Indian Tiger no I'm Indian. I will never support Britain over India. But please don't deny aspects of their culture that are common to us. If it wasn't for Britain, we would not be one country, and a person like me who is a product of parents from north and south states, would not exist. Because of this common language, I exist. Mumbai is very heavily influenced by English and always has been. Just like Hindi was influenced by invaders and we accept Hindi but not those invaders, just like that you can accept this language (English) as ours, and accept the good legacy of British India while hating whatever they did bad, such as what they did to other parts of India (not port cities).
Intresring. It's all modern but there's a hint here and there of old India. Very surreal or something feeling. I would love to drive down there myself. -From Pk

Kukil Das Indians should invest their money on drainage, sewage, sanitation, affordable housing, toilets, trash cans, waste management and most importantly cleaning of the Indian rivers.
Rohit Patel I didn't mean it in a bad way. I actually love India and I've visited India two times. It's just that well off Indians like yourself think that India has no problems or people are really happy in India. Well you should ask a homeless guy if they are happy to live in India. You should as people living in slums if they have access to proper sanitation or sewage. Let's just assume India builds a Hong Kong, Dubai and New York city. Do you think it will make life any better for 99% of Indians? We no because most couldn't even afford to rent an apartment in those cities.

It's really impressive. I had a different image of Mumbai from Bollywood movies of 80 s and 90s.but it has progressed a lot. Much cleaner than our karachi which was comparable to Mumbai in 90s.Love from Pakistan

Expat from Mumbai living in Toronto since the past 11 years. This video just brought back a rush of memories of aamchi Mumbai. Loved it. Especially the early morning. Anyone who's lived there knows this is the silence before the storm. When the city just kicks in FULL GEAR for the day. Ah! Nostalgia. Thanks for filming/sharing.

Because you are seeing this video which was shot during non peak hours (dawn). Peak hour traffic is a mess in Indian cities like Mumbai and Bangalore. Google Maps always shows red colour lines everywhere.

Nice video! I was born in India but only lived there for two years before moving to Canada. In North America, all of the major cities (Toronto, NYC, Chicago, Montreal, Pittsburg, DC) have a similar atmosphere. Once you see one city, you've basically seen them all.

A few economic facts about Mumbai:
(1) The total private wealth of Mumbai is $950 billion, that's nearly 11% of India's total private wealth of $8.23 trillion.
But what really matters is GDP per capita, which is not up to the mark compared to other global cities..
@@ArghyadeepPal you are right ...mumbai ko new york se compare karenge to pata chalega ki mumbai ki kya value he hahaha
@@nirajgamit8395 New York, kyun, Bangkok, Jakarta ya Kuala Lumpur se bhi kam hai. Udhar China ki 3rd tier city ka bhi GDP per capita Mumbai se zyada hogi, 1st tier cities jaise Shanghai, Shenzhen aur 2nd tier cities ki toh baat hi chodo..

srikarjam I am from Islamabad.Karachi is also very nice city nd economically very important but in last 10 years provision gov of sindh doesnot done any signicant work.I dont think comparison is accurate becuz there are many factors which we ignore but otherwise karachi is beautiful city and Bahira Town project which is very good for karachi. It is almost new smart city for karachi.I think one of main source of mumbai ecomony is bollywood.
aqib Naeem nope. Main source of income is import and exports. Bollywood is just a small part of Mumbai.
aqib Naeem ye mumbai he.par aap ko navi mumbai matalab newmumbai ko bhi dekhana chahiye. Ur ye Karachi jesa city nahi he yar kyu ki mumbai me monorail, metro train ur mera manana he abhi ki new local train bhi metro jesi hi he. Jabki Karachi me aisa kuch bhi nahi he.

Kolkata and Bombay.. the pride of British Indian legacy! The real cities of India
+chucklingVERSE keep thinking that way you bigot
80sROCKKKKK are you British bro
Lekin agar ham shangai or other parts ko dekhe china ka to achha nahi lagta 😢

Thank You!!😊
More power 2 u😎
Kurdistan Hy Kurd!! Yes, India should and is doing a lot in these necessary things.
Thanks for ur feedback. I hope u'll not have find any complaint(s) when ever you return to India, in d near Future!!

The only solution is to ban diesel cars in India.. developed countries like USA has banned diesel cars already 8 years back. One diesel car produces pollution that is equal to 10 petrol cars. Yes, you read that right? Google it.
