The old town of Mumbai has so much potential. It has nothing to envy of the great capitals of the West. With a good restoration, a proper implementation of new urban planning standards and an enrichment of people (it's already starting to happen) , it would be the place where everyone wants to be (just like New York, Paris, London or Dubai).
Yeah, they also should add bike lanes where there is extra space. Better road marking and improving the quality of the road and pavement is also needed for a posh historic area like this. Mumbai surely lacks greenery along roads to attract wildlife and give more breathable air.
there should be a job called infra decoration devlopment so they can decorate these roads
It already exists in case you aren't aware . You need to have a degree in architecture or civil engineering and Project Management
@@MrAgolikeri why roads are still this type then?
@@Techy218 the nature and type of road depends on the hands that work on them. So if course if you hire cheap , low cost, daily wage labourers and make them manually carry out the task instead of world class equipment and machinery , you can't get the desired results
It's all covered under the Mumbai climate action plan. Every aspect of it isn't being taken seriously by the current government though, just because it was floated by the Thackerays. Dirty politics makes us loose once again lol.
@@Techy218 did u ever asked this question to civiv authorities in written? Or do u cheer like slave for political parties...or do u try to hold them accountable ?
Oh yeah!!! Classic is the best!
Good Afternoon , Anuj ............Love those older Bldgs. than sky scrapers.
At 17:34 this actually looked like the UK until I saw those scaffolds 😭
Bamboo shit😂😂😂
Seeing Mumbai through your eyes has made me fall in love with my city all the more. Thank you and more power to you. Great Job
Why are so many people walking on the roads when there are big and empty footpaths available? We Indians lack basic civic sense and then we blame government for everything
Statement of truth
You've clearly never been there. Or maybe you have but not recently. The railings along the footpath make it difficult to access. In some cases, you need to walk 100 meters to find an access point to the footpath.
Tks for the Ride , Anuj.
Sooper video drive in South Mumbai 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊

at what time you taken this video? i hardly seen mumbai so calm with no crowd
Early morning
Mumbai Meri Jaan ❤️
Love You Mumbai ❤
It’s so great to be able to drive along empty streets in Mumbai, and only early morning, probably on weekends, allows such sights. The only problem is that by then, the jharoo gang hasn’t made the streets clean so it kind of mars the experience of being able to see the beautiful city as it should be.
South Bombay suits more to early morning situation but as day progresses, population comes on roads and it becomes South Mumbai
10:30 average day in mumbai 💀

Yes, time of filming mentioned in video description.
so much less traffic
Mumbai looks run down because of construction hope it will change soon .
Which part of Mumbai do you think looks 'run down' ?
@@MrAgolikeri I mean it looks dusty because of coastal road and metro construction. Same like delhi .
@@oxy2986that's because there are so many big huge construction projects going on... That's why there is a lot of dust and pollution is increased... Prior to this pollution was quite low
Dog Scene at 10:34 😂😂😂😂😂
Mumbai Roads ka beautification kab hoga ? itna kharab purane zamane ka dikhta hai abhi bhi !!!
Mein yahan ek ghar khridoonga two bed room flat dining cum drawing room, kitchen attach.
Mumbai has footpaths yet people still walk on the road, they need to start fining people for not walking on the footpath when one is there and use the funds collected to build more footpaths across the city for people to walk on.
Footpaths are full of hawkers and vendors. Not just Mumbai but throughout India , and even in other countries. Even in a city like Tokyo , you see kerbside vendors selling streetfood and snacks. However the difference is that advanced countries have a largely disciplined native population with civic sense and ethics. In a country like ours , it's difficult to expect all that.
@@MrAgolikeri The reason is not lack of civic sense but the lackadaisical approach of the government and beaurocracy in forming and implementing laws that address these issues. Primarily because of the fear of losing popularity amongst the voters.
