A shopping complex - Galleria (3:53) is located at the geographical center of the township. Powai Plaza (0:10) is another popular shopping mall located in the area.
Fun fact is the land provided to hiranandani by maharashtra govt to build houses for lower to middle income group and see how builder manipulated the law by building small area flats and than joining them to make tham 3/4 bhk..
My maternal grandfather migrated from Bombay to Lahore in 1946. He still remembers Bombay with an awe. Pays his Salam to Haji Ali Dargah. I hope someday I'll get to see this great city where he grew up and his ancestors used to live. Ali M. Mirza.
Mumbai is less polluted because of good rains ..and coastal city .....I accept Delhi is very polluted..but check out infrastructure of Delhi ..it's just awesome ...the broad roads.. the metro, cleanliness is not awesome but better than Mumbai..also this place is hell now with metro work going on since 5 years..
