An excellent and concise summation. Thank you. In my studies of kabbalah and experiences with the mother, I have come to think that we mistakenly conceive of the mother as pertaining to the entirety of space due to our newly found awareness of space, changing world to universe. We overextend our experiences to things far beyond us. Such a mother is the planet, our world which manifests and sustains our being right now, rather than any common material spanning galaxies, before which we would be so small as to not exist. There could be such a being, but I doubt that any human in history has ever actually comprehended such a thing. These universal conceptions are modern glamour.

Very interesting how much of this corresponds with the Aristotelian-Thomistic account of reality in hylomorphic dualism (form/matter, act/potency).

Indeed, there are striking similarities between these concepts. Both emphasize the interplay of form and matter, as well as actuality and potentiality, in their understanding of reality. It's fascinating to see how these different perspectives converge and offer insightful perspectives on the nature of existence.
