In all honesty throughout John's life his true best friend was Paul McCartney, Paul always stuck by him until the end, and even after that still thought highly of him, even though John may have not seen it, Paul still is an amazing person!
He now does songs with Kanye and Rihanna...frankly Iost a little bit of respect for him cause of that. I would love to know what John would be like today if he was still around..
John wrote How Do You Sleep about Paul didn’t he? I think it was really obvious with one line about Yesterday in it. In my opinion, that was really low of John but I love both of them nevertheless.

The acting of Aaron Taylor Johnsson and Thomas Brodie Sangster here is really strong and terrific and this scene really made me cry. It makes you feel very sad when John was damn heartbroken after his mother Julia died. And despite that Paul stood up to John he was only trying to help him because he cares for John. That's why I like the relationship with them as best friends.
I got the opportunity to go see it with my best friend who happens to be a musician as well, we both love John Lennon, I remember both of us crying in this very scene, we were pretty high too, lol! It was awesome
I felt this exact pain that John had when my friend died aged just 15. He died in his sleep. I felt so many emotions, anger, stress, sadness. I was so grieved. 2004-2019

I bet that's what probably happened in real life when this actually happened and when you see what a brotherhood, a warm friendship John and Paul had, it just warms your heart but also makes you teary eyed. Another fun fact: Paul has said - after The Beatles became famous and had to deal with the press all the time, that he and John would make/give darkly sarcastic comments/answers to reporters who would ask them questions about their moms opinions about their careers or whatever - reporters who clearly didn't do any simple research to find out that both their mothers were dead.
This is something John would do to many people in his life, he would hurt them (physically or verbally), then profusely start crying and apologise ti them seconds later. Unless he was drunk.
The fact that this fight between John and Paul is never happened in real life is not that important I think, I think that scene made this movie more emotional and gave the audience an another reason for thinking how great this movie was. I'm not similiar to Beatles' personal life's at all but Aaron and Thomas did some great job in there and for whatever reason, I love this scene.
