Interesting. The music in osrs or rs3 is wildly underestimated.
Good video on Baroque. No need to criticise yourself with these little texts onscreen. It's good :)

I wildly agree! 😃I love the music from RuneScape, and only recently realized how impactful it must have been on my musical tastes/interests as a kid.
Thank you for the thoughtful comment. I'll try to not criticize myself too much via text pop-ups. Sometimes it's probably in good taste, other times probably too judgmental on myself!

I have an example of 2 Ian Taylor songs that are connected - Sea Shanty 1 and Magic Dance. Both basically the same song, probably composed at the same time, but differing instrumentations / arrangements.
I recommend the RSHD versions of both songs (manpaint has them uploaded) as they sound the best, unless you're using the RS3 versions.

Awesome! I'll check those two songs out and let you know if I hear the connection. Appreciate the comment!

Just a heads up, near the end where it shows "He literally made 459 music tracks for the game!" looks like it was taken from the OSRS Fandom wiki which is an out dated wiki. For OSRS he's credited for 521 songs, and 636 for RS3.

Oh my goodness, that's even more than i thought. Thanks for the fact check!

All fine appreciating his works but i regret to inform you Ian Taylor is a convicted paedophile, regardless of how good or bad he might have been at his job for me that excludes him from any kind of praise whatsoever

Well that's very unfortunate to hear. I had no idea that was the case. Any research I did was all about the music, not him and his personal history.
But in any case, I will still praise his music because even though he may have done something horrible, I think the music he made still is inspiring. Probably from the better angels of his nature.
