What a ridiculous comment - have you heard everyone else sing ? Your comment is an opinion not a statement and trivialises Ms Garifullina. She certainly has a good voice, but it lacks sweetness in my opinion. If you want to hear what in my opinion is a finer rendition of this, then listen to the recording from 1919 of Frances Alda. Contrast Alda's notes at the high end of the register particularly say at the 2 minute mark.

@@arturosmb1 I made it clear, unlike you, that my comments were opinion. I objected to your simplistic approach. One could use the word arrogant. I too have been an opera listener for many years, attending performances and have known singers. They all scoff when they see comments such as yours when not qualified by "I think/ in my opinion" and say that such comments have little merit save for vanity. I do not see why you object to being asked to show some humility.

I think she sings this the best of the great divas. It’s my opinion not up for debate. This aria needs a young sweet voice. Her young voice has a light but powerful quality. Beautiful voice and beautiful girl! 🎶💓 There must be something in the Russian water, so many beautiful opera singers.
Check this song with Andre Rieu and his artists Carmen. Amria. I think they are much more interesting and makes a difference. With all respect but Garifulina sings almost identical as other equally trained sopranos.
