I love the design and concept. Its a garage and a bed....I wish you folks all the luck selling these for $20,000 in this economy.
I love the AT Aterra Topper , and probably would buy one, because I have been looking for a camper-shell for my truck. But starting at $20,000 is a little steep for what it is.
Everyone wants made in USA till they have to pay for it. Quality comes at a price. Cheers.
Scout makes a slide in camper that competes directly with this model and is only a few thousand more. Made in America. Cheers!!!
Way too much !

Holy crap man, I was on board until the ridiculous price tag. It's an oversize shell, not a complete camper.
Purchased one of these mounted on a 6.5 ft bed three months ago. Just finished outfitting it with 900 lbs of gear, all stowed inside (including a folding 100 lb/1000W eBike), leaving 500 lbs of remaining GVWR and plenty of room to spare for me, food and fuel as I’m ramping up to recover from loss of my off-grid wilderness homestead which was totally destroyed by wildfire in spring of 2022. To enhance its security, a 0.25” x 1.25” x 80” bar of 17-4 PH conditioned stainless steel is locked across the door to the jack leg brackets using a pair of heavy duty, weatherproof disc combo locks with 3/8” hardened steel shackles.
This is the perfect solution on the market for my needs which my insurance provider would agree to completely cover cost of to serve as on-site housing while my new home is being built next spring.
Thats awesome to hear.
I like a lot of what this topper has to offer. Still useful as a truck. The major selling point is no longer having to hop up on the tailgate then ducking into a camp topper. I'm only 5.6 and I would walk straight in!
I was waiting for this video 👍
Glad we didn't disappoint
Here i am, moments from ordering a moonlander.. and AT pulls another rabbit outta their hat... back to the drawing board..lol
Was doing the same thing. Really like the honeycomb design for insulation purposes. Good Luck!!
20k vs 7k… 13k buys a lot of gas ;)

man ... I have a pop up topper for light weight but oh boy i miss my hard side slide in for noise insulation and not feeling outside all the time. This is a great solution with the arctic tern windows. I love it. But I'm not planning on changing my ford ranger 2020 truck soon, so sadly not for me. this is one rare occasion I wish I had a bigger truck.
20k....GL.
last one : if one would like to "match" the insulation of the honeycomb composite walls to the bed of the truck, about R- what factor should he aim for ?
For example, I know that 1/2 inch bed rug is R-4 value.
Doesnt it seem like it should have a ceiling fan?
ok so how thick are the walls ? In other words, if it's 74 inch wide inside, what's the with outside ?
I'm thinking I could put it on a 7X6 foot flat bed on my ranger lol
I like it. How is the seal between the camper and pickup bed especially near the tailgate? Curious how it will do on dirt roads to keep out the dust.
Great question!
What you've done is amazing it's fantastic and it's wonderful,,,, But that's all the farther it goes with me... Your prices are delusional, Don't embarrass yourself cut the price in half and cut it in half again
Funny, they are selling quite a few of these. Seems like he knows what he is doing.
You planning on bringing one of these units to OE East in Virginia in October?
we are not, but I am not sure about AT.
I dig it and the price isn't horrible like most everything in the "overland" industry.
Its a really good price
I agree!!

20k for bare bones. dang!
