Girl this is awesome I always cook my cassava leaves this way but never knew this is the Mende way but I mix my groundnut with a bit of water to make it a bit pasty wow 😮 I’m creole and they say my cassava leaves taste lek Mende yone😊

We children of the Diaspora love west African food I'm cooking it right now and I had Ogiri in my freezer. I go to Atlanta to get my African ingredients yummy I can't wait til my cassava leaf is ready to eat today I got my fufu and rice so I'm ready💞💞💞💞💞

I didn’t know that either till I found out that the Sierra Leonenens , Liberians, Guineans eat it but this is clearly mixed with other delicious things to make it edible

Yes we do, some off us put beans, and some don't. I'm from Freetown and Krio, and it's always been beans in Cassava and Potato leaves
