    I am Ukranian and I love this dish. I tasted it once and asked the friends from Sierra Leone to teach me how to make it. I need to perfect it, but comes out pretty good. I can't get enough of that dish. Your recipe is great, too. I just skip fish...thanks, I enjoyed watching.

    Girl this is awesome I always cook my cassava leaves this way but never knew this is the Mende way but I mix my groundnut with a bit of water to make it a bit pasty wow 😮 I’m creole and they say my cassava leaves taste lek Mende yone😊

    Thanks for sharing this mi salone sister...gave it a go using your recipe and I had great feedback from friends who came over. I however had to pressure cook my meat as i was not too sure about the oven temp or timing. Thumbs up.

    I skipped the butter beans and Ogiri...first time trying to make this it turned out very nice ...next time I will add ogiri and butter beans

    Sistah friend as we say in the Southern States in America you put your foot in that cassava leaf (means you cooked that so good) I can taste it through the screen. We children of the Diaspora love west African food I'm cooking it right now and I had Ogiri in my freezer. I go to Atlanta to get my African ingredients yummy I can't wait til my cassava leaf is ready to eat today I got my fufu and rice so I'm ready💞💞💞💞💞

      Yes I’m from Sierra Leone and mende we put beans in all our vegetable if I have it

      Yes we do, some off us put beans, and some don't. I'm from Freetown and Krio, and it's always been beans in Cassava and Potato leaves

    can someone please tell me how many degrees in Fahrenheit she put the meat in the oven on? 365 degrees? 400 degrees F? she only said she put the oven on "high". for how many minutes?? someone tell me this pleaase i want to make this for my man

    I don’t have the blender you used. I have the same leave like yours and I tried to blend on a normal blender. It did not work. Can I cook it like that, it is it a must to blend the leaves?

      U have to add water on it the it will work or els cook it like that u will need more pinot butter then to help make it more relax

      I didn’t know that either till I found out that the Sierra Leonenens , Liberians, Guineans eat it but this is clearly mixed with other delicious things to make it edible
