If you’re thinking of doing London to Paris I’ve linked the routes I put together in the description. Let me know if you’re thinking of doing it, or if you have any questions! ✌🏼 Ps. Should I make this my first and last UA-cam video or would you want to see more adventures!? 👀
More adventures 😂
So proud of you & so nice being able to watch it all back!!!!! MOREEEEE ADVENTURES PENDING!
Next one we do together! 👀❤️
The clarification that Phil is not heavy but that it feels heavy killed me.
Didn’t wanna hurt his Philings…
Absolutely mental! Was really feeling the stress level rise when you left your helmet
Stress levels were high! 🤦♂️😅
from not wanting to be on cam to have your own UA-cam channel! this is so cool! please continue documenting these adventures as they're amazing! ✨
Thank you! Plenty of adventures coming this year so maybe I’ll have to pick the camera up again 👀
@@grantmynott looking forward 🍿
Bravo Grant! Fun to see you in France (I'm a Canadian living in France). I thought I could shed some light on some of your questions: Gisors is pronounced with a soft G, which we don't really use in English, but like a French J (Je) : Jeez-or. You were at a normal McDonald's, but many of them also include McCafés, meaning there's a coffee counter with more coffee drink options as well as sweets like macarons, muffins, pastries, etc. If you eat in at a fast-food restaurant, they're no longer allowed to use throw away containers, hence the plastic fry container and real glass. They're trying to cut down on waste. Hope you're recovering nicely from your adventure!
Thanks Alix! Should have probably learnt how to say it before butchering the pronunciation several times on UA-cam 😂 now I know 🙌🏼
4:28 yeah Farthing Downs. Not far from me! A fantastic view of London.
Was a great view!
thanks for the video, now I know what to expect, I need a gravel tire for my road bike if going to do this challenge myself
Glad it was helpful! You’ll be fine with road tyres, no need for gravel tyres.
More adventures please ❤
🫡 on it
A real non influencer experience by a person who doesn’t mind taking the piss out of himself 😂 nice job 🎉
😂 Cheers Roger!
Well done, the voie vert in France are fantastic - no cars!👍
Thanks John. Agreed! Really enjoyed the car free riding 👌🏼
So awesome Grant!! What a gorgeous ride!
Was unreal! Thanks Stephanie 🙌🏼

Thanks Rozenn! I’m sure you’ll have a great time 👌🏼 enjoy your solo adventure!
Nice one Grant ! I done London to Paris last October but over 4 days taking my time. The UK side is rough but France is easy with amazing cycle paths
Cheers Mark! Yeah agreed, the UK side is definitely the hardest part. I still enjoyed it but my legs didn’t 😂
Yes mate! Epic trip. I would of been freaking out if I left my helmet! 😂 fair play for making the ferry in time 🤙
I was trying to keep calm but panic levels were high 😂 cheers bro 👊🏼
Awesome ride Grant, you did amazing! Also, nice to see you having your own channel 🤗 hope to see you posting more soon😊
Thanks Kathrin! Guess I better get thinking of some new video ideas / adventures then! 🫡
The 150 minutes wait are slowing me down 😂
⏳

Wow, what an amazing achievement! You can be very proud of yourself!❤🚴♂️

Enjoyed watching this! For a small channel, you've deffo got the minerals for the vlogging and quality filming 😬 Inspiring me to take on something like this 👌
Thanks Jason, appreciate it 👊🏼 glad it’s inspired you. Start planning that adventure!
Wow what a fantastic accomplishment
Thanks Nicolle! 👊🏼
Doing this trip this week, wish me luck
Good luck mate, you’ll love it!
Inspiring. Have to do this at the end of the summer (avoiding the Olympics)!!!
Definitely would recommend! And yeah, good shout swerving the Olympics. Let me know what you think of the route if you end up doing it 💪🏼
Awesome, did it myself a few years ago, kinda want to do it again now
A few people have mentioned London to Amsterdam as a good one. Could look into that!
Brilliant. What an achievement x
Thanks! 🙌🏼 x
85km done sofa this month , 75km to go 😊.zwift cycling Level 32, zwift running Level 4😊
Amazing, well done! Keep it up 💪
Brilliant, looks an epic trip I’m cycling London to Amsterdam in June, what brand are your glasses to ?
London to Amsterdam will be awesome, might have to add that to my list too! Glasses are the Cutline model by Le Col x Rudy Project. Good luck for June 👊🏼
Looks like a fun trip. What is the make & model of the front light you attached to your bike ?
Such a fun trip. I’ve linked the bike light in the description, it’s on sale at the moment too! ‘Magicshine Evo 1700’
I totally want to do this with my dad!! Are the routes on strava?? Of the 3 days?
Hey Lisa, you should definitely do it, such a great trip and I was really happy with the route. I’ve linked the routes in the description. I put them together using Komoot… I then sent from Komoot to my Garmin but I assume you can send to Strava. Let me know if you end up doing it! 🙌🏼
07:00 My first ever trip I stopped there! I guess it's a right of passage.
Was a great little find! I was thinking they must get a lot of cyclists 🚴
Well done, you and Steph should do this together. Or cycle somewhere together, that would be great to see. Plus imagine all the food on the way, she would love it. I would love to do this. Did you find it difficult?
Thanks! We’ve got a cycling adventure lined up together so watch this space. I didn’t find it difficult because I put no pressure on myself to hit a certain time / pace… just took it steady and enjoyed it! 👌🏼you should definitely do it, great experience.
Felicitaciones!!!!
¿Qué medida de cubiertas (tires)usaste?
Saludos desde Mar Del Plata, Argentina...
Muchas gracias!
Normal caratera cubiertas… 25mm (Continental GP5000)
I can’t fit bigger tyres on my bike but I would recommend tubeless 30mm for this type of trip.
Muchas gracias por apoyarme!
Are you using hartrate monitor or the one on the forarm😊
Not for this ride as it wasn’t for ‘training’ was just for fun. I did have my ‘Whoop’ strap on my wrist though as i wear it everyday and that did detect the activity and heart rate data.
Was this the Avenue Verte route?
Not the official Avenue Verte route, no. Although there were large sections of it that were. It was a route I put together after doing quite a bit of research and I ended up being really happy with it for a 3 day trip.
All that weight and rim brakes with carbon rims. and 25mm tyres. Terrible idea.
Was fine when there wasn’t torrential rain lol. Would prefer disc brakes of course but I’ve ridden carbon wheels and rim brakes down Alpe d’huez at over 100kph when I weighed 94kg… so this wasn’t that hard on the bike / wheels. I was taking it very easy.
Hey mate could i know what light you were using?😅
Hey mate, the link to this exact light is in the description. Even comes with a little Bluetooth remote you mount to the handlebars. 100% recommend.
Thanks!
Just because of how fast you responded im subscribing 👍
@@jonathanaraiza2354 legend, thanks for the sub! 👊🏼
