after this, they gonna launch an even aggresive spec on GT trim. 1.6L Turbo 197HP 290Nm FWD/AWD 7-spd DCT and lastly Multi-link rear suspension. Chery is really pushing it with their Omoda line-ups.
Everything has it pros and cons. Personally I don't think the small flaws are a deal breaker. For the price, it's actually quite a good car overall. Thanks for the good review.
It's not value for money. You're paying 24k for a brand new car that's made with shitty parts. For 24k, you could get a 5 year old Mercedes which will do you much better in every way possible. Fuel economy, reliability, comfortability, etc etc etc. Get this if you just want a brand new car on a budget.
@@iabaca 5 yrs old Mercedes with an unknown background, sounds more risky to me. Not to mention extra expensive costs on spare parts, maintenance fees, etc. This car should be compared with the same segment within the same price range, e.g. x50, HRV (slightly more expensive), etc. Not fair to compare durian kampung with black thorn
@@iabaca nope..5 year old Mercedes might cost the same but the maintenance will cost more, not to mention you pay more for a car that was used for YEARS in comparison to a brand new car who knows what happened with the car for all those years..and how well conditioned it is still in. Again buying an old luxury car after 5 - 10 years for the price to drop is not the best choice if you're looking to get a car on a budget...just get an affordable car that worth the price with perfect(brand new) condition to avoid unnecessary amount of services/repairs.
Chery Australia has recalled 5901 examples of its Omoda 5, after discovering a defect which can result in brake failure for the small SUV. The recall affects all Chery Omoda 5s sold in Australia since local deliveries began in mid-2023. “Due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt securing the brake pipe union may not have been tightened sufficiently. This could cause the brake fluid to leak and result in reduced braking performance,” Chery said in its recall notice. “A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants, pedestrians and other road users.”
Bro don’t just simply say it’s fake exhaust because below the car it has two exhaust that means the car has two exhaust just they it’s at the bottom of the car
Yeah, and then spend the next few months or years sending it to workshop for repair rather than actually driving the car. Seriously, do you even know about cars at all ? Majority of people would definitely go for the Omoda 5 H rather than a Second-hand continental cars, because by the knows of many, these conti cars though cheap, but it's cheap for a reason, because you would be spending a big hole on your wallet for the constant repairs, whereas a brand new car, doesn't matter the brand or price, is definitely a no-brainer to go for, since there is no worries for the repairs or anything, at least not so soon. So good luck with that.
@@droneascent Yeap..agree with you... I'm planning to upgrade my car to this too; for a tech etc. not to be stuck on old features. The new one at least got a warranty, why bother to buy old shit with unknown background and an expired warranty at all? it sounds riskier to me. Which SUV is better than this, with the price range of 24k?

Good to point out the weaknesses of the car. Viewers can judge for themselves whether to buy it or not & accepting the weaknesses.

Supposedly early or mid next year
Is it worth to change Chery from X70 ??
Pls don't be commercial video. Just speak out the truth to the viewer. This car good or bad. Just straight forward.
Now I think GAC emkoo/emzoom nicer more canggih
Just wait for the 1.6 L version. Much faster and basically the same thing just faster and the suspension is better

hello, you drive ferrari, lamborghini or Rolls Royce, people wouldnt dare to wave you down la.
The GMs feel like you’re driving a plastic toy car. I wonder how will this go

I think he meant fake exhaust tips
The gril way to crowded. The rims are ugly, the rest looks pretty decent.
It’s new but it looks old
24k on brand new budget? Not worth it. Youre paying 24k for brand new shit. Id rather pay for a 10 year old lexus.

Never buy chinese car 💀💀💀
Copycat car. Front looks alike Hyundai Tucson, rear looks alike Lexus or Toyota Harrier. Common China gives us your original design.
