Decent review but for the whole video you didn't include the most important thing. How is the suspension feels on malaysian road?

Saw few on the road now...stands out of the crowd with its odd yet stylist design...Maybe wait at least a year to see feedback from owners...Chinese made car.

Unfortunately, I bought this car a couple months ago and I found it to be money wasted. So many issues on a new car and even worse customer support/resolution team. It is a rip off

Chery Australia has recalled 5901 examples of its Omoda 5, after discovering a defect which can result in brake failure for the small SUV.
The recall affects all Chery Omoda 5s sold in Australia since local deliveries began in mid-2023.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt securing the brake pipe union may not have been tightened sufficiently. This could cause the brake fluid to leak and result in reduced braking performance,” Chery said in its recall notice.
“A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants, pedestrians and other road users.”

This is the weirdest review I've come across so far. That's definitely a sunroof, not a panoramic one. The rear AC vent is quite common these days, especially in that price range. A glove box in the center console? Both CarPlay and Android Auto support wireless connectivity, but yes, the AC seems laggy for some reason. Not sure how you can compare the CVT feels same like DCT. So far, you're the only person who complimented the Omoda 5 for its driving/handling. Having tested the car myself, I found it to be too soft for any kind of spirited drive or even just a slightly fast drive. It seems more suited for city driving. Chinese cars tend to prioritize comfort over better handling. As for NVH, it's okay for city speeds, but wind noise creeps in at highway speeds, and the loud tire doesn't help either. Still it's way better than HRV. Lastly, the additional warranty is 10 years (engine and transmission only) or 1 million km, not unlimited mileage. I don't mean to be an S but come on man
