Someday could you do an interview with a senior member of the Curran Flute Band on their history and choice of instruments as I can't find any information about them on the internet. As usual a big thank you for providing an excellent video of the parade for us.
Love this band, their drums and drumming style. I read somewhere that this type of band is unique to the South Derry area. Curran is the only one I know of in existence but there may be others. Would be interested in reading about their history too
Moneymore Bible and Crown Defenders are another band that use the "skeleton drum" Not sure if that's the correct name for them but it's the term I grew up knowing the drum as.
Unique drumming style and a great sound
Brilliant, Outstanding, Respect to you all, 👏🇬🇧🏴👌🏼👍🏼.
