You haven't seen the cover of Layla yet, but don't worry. Let me tell you, I noticed one thing. Marcin reaches such perfection that you can see in his videos how he is more and more relaxed. Such is the progression of his talent backed by hard work. He's not as focused when he's recording, but he starts playing like it's a piece of cake. I don't know if you understand what I'm talking about.
iam not anyway a videopro but the video segments seem not to be contiguious and causes me to think that the audio may be edited also . just an old mans odd thought. he is a very creative muscian
Yes, what should we say about that? Marcin is a sensational guitarist. The tones are so clean, the rhythm and the melody are simply brilliant. I am convinced that Marcin is the best guitarist in the world. A genius. Many greetings from Cologne KlausCGN
Pan Marcin -Pan Mistrz. Nie wiadomo jak podsumować. W sercu ogień a w ramionach gitara... Albo odwrotnie... Pięknie Ci dziękuję za tę reakcję. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 👍👍💕
Thank you, for this great reaction. I like to see your reaction and hear your thoughts about Marcins works. He is true genius. Please react also Rob Scallons interview with Marcin. I promise you will love it. And we all here will enjoy to see your reaction on that great interview.
Marcin Patrzałek (born October 6, 2000 in Kielce, Poland) Polish is a fingerstyle guitarist, composer and producer. He began playing classical guitar at the age of 10, under the direction of Jerzy Pikor, a teacher from Kielce. Two years later, he began learning flamenco techniques with Spanish guitarist Carlos Pinana. In 2015, he won the ninth edition of the Must Be the Music program. Only music, and in 2016 he released his debut album entitled Hush. In the same year he became a finalist of the International Fingerstyle Guitar Master Competition, and the following year he won first prize at the Joaquín Rodrigo International Classical Guitar Competition. In 2018, he won the fifth edition of the Italian program Tu Si Que Vales. On November 12, 2018, he released an EP entitled revAMP, containing his most popular arrangements. Previously, he released his own single "Baba Yaga". In 2019, he entered the 14th edition of America's Got Talent, in which he reached the semi-finals. In 2020, he signed a contract with Sony Music. 17 year old Marcin arranged & performed "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. Marcin uses the innovative technique of "percussion fingerstyle", which is why he chose the flagship Ibanez AE900-NT guitar from the AE and Thermo Aged™ AVD80-NT series equipped with a K&K Trinity Pro pickup, which allows him to combine extensive percussion elements with standard guitar playing. Pozdrawiam z Polski.
Nice to hear from Poland. Ok I thought I recognized that guitar look. Tim Henson is a beast just like Marcin. Take care and it’s nice to hear from you.
Thanks for the professional comment on Marcin 👏👏👏🙏🏻 For sure he has own style and preferences how to arrange the composition - some people like it, some not. I just admire him for talent and creativity- his music never makes me bored. He in age 17 was already good playing guitar but now he tries to reach the sky….🎉 Right now I see many guitarist following Marcin and adding percussion elements to their music
Thanx for your reaction. He was recently touring. You can find some pieces from Torun city and Szczecin, too. Or you go straight to his latest release. Iconic "Layla" from Sir Eric Clapton or Derek and the Dominoes. Greetings from Poland.
Sometimes he percusively slaps upper strings (lower notes} with his thumb at the same times he's plucking melody on lower strings (higher notes) with his pinky finger.
Amazing playing, arranging, innovation, and shear physical prowess, but one thing no one mentions, at least I've not seen, or heard, is how unbelievable Marcin's groove is...He's a drummer as much as a guitar player, and quite awesome at both! The Dude is on another level, indeed!
Whenever I want to watch and listen to someone who not only plays the guitar but knows where every possible sound that it can produce is (not just on the strings) then I usually put on some Guthrie Govan. Now I have Alip Ba Ta, Hendrix and now Marcin to add to the small number of players who know their instrument that well and love exploring its sounds. I'm just trying to get the hang of La Malaguena on the new wide-neck Fender acoustic I got a couple of weeks ago so Marcin will either make me give up or inspire me a lot! Probably the latter!
lol I’m sure he will inspire Tony. Sounds like a nice guitar you got there don’t get discouraged on that song. It’s a really hard one man. One step at a time and before you know it you will have mastered it. Good Luck dude.
Thank you for taking the time and pausing to help explain to me - what in the heck is going on; that by you doing so? Helps make Marcin's level of lighting like mastery - for we of unwashed, non-gee-tar playing masses - more comprehensible! I just subscribed and look forward to more such insights.
The black guitar is actually a Jim Henson signature model. I give him a lot of credit for his arrangements. His guitar work is extremely good, although there are many others in his category, such as Bernth, who not only shreds as well as any guitarist, but can play beautiful melodic songs using some strange techniques, such as drilling holes in his guitar (ua-cam.com/video/-Fg5a2jjc3g/v-deo.html). Bernth to me at first was just a great shredder but I've become more impressed with his acoustic playing. Anyways, the down side of Marcin to me is his percussion, which in itself is pretty impressive, but it almost overwhelms the guitar because he tends to not play a full song, but rather the parts needed for continuity of the song with the percussion beats in between. Oh, I think the part where you felt he might be slapping is actually using his thumb as a percussion stick, if that makes sense. The beginning of the second section he played I enjoyed much more just due to it being all guitar with minimal percussion. Regardless, he has created a niche and his playing ability is up at the tops!
Thanks for the link Guy! That was crazy 😁 But very good! Really liked the melodic parts of the song and yes, needless to say he’s a fantastic guitarist!
Pozdrawiam z Polski.
@@matrixmannn Sorry, it is Tim. You have a point. I've heard from many musicians that they moved on past classical music due to its stringent structure and repetitiveness. So jazz or rock becomes a new venue for them!

There's no doubt that Marcin is technically gifted; but sometimes just because you CAN play it doesn't mean you SHOULD play it. Thank you for posting this,
