I love the time of day element; fast replays with replay mod had the day and night switching very fast which was not very pretty. I'm glad we can smooth it out with flashback now 🙂
I love flashback. The ability to precisely add or remove bits from screenshots alone has upped my Thumbnail game dramatically. You can even export the greenscreen as transparency in the screenshot, which makes it so easy to get good images for editing.

In this video, I used a new shader I’ve fallen in love with called AstraLex. It has so many options but took a lot of tweaking to get it to my liking. It is also very hardware intensive. The other shader I use is super easy, relatively fast and looks amazing without having to tweak anything and it is called Complementary Reimagined.
Make sure the other player isn’t hidden in the players tab. Also try rendering again. Sometimes a second render will fix weird issues like that. If not, I’m not sure and I recommend you try asking the discord :)

Is there a way to make it compatible with Feather? I love this mod but whenever I export the clip, there's Feather's interface on the saved footage, it also collides with other mods like Xaero's Minimap.
From the flashback discord: “Feather is unsupported and will never be supported. It's in your best interest to stop using Feather Client. Known for code theft, crashes, and poor performance, Feather offers no advantage over using Fabric directly or through reputable launchers like Modrinth or Prism.” Also it seems Xaeros is currently incompatible as well.

Feather works with Flashback but it's buggy, feather interface stays in the footage, even after exporting. You can turn off the mods that add something to the gui and then export it but its annoying. As good as this mod is, they also make it very frustrating at times to get anything good looking done, and so far I haven't been able to find a way to type in values for things like speed changes or FOV which you can guess is very very annoying always being on 90.6 fov instead of a clean 90 and it makes no sense that they let you type in exact values for time of day but not other options. More about the FOV, sometimes when you try to add a different FOV to something down the line it'll completely mess up the path of cameras you placed down before, I've just had a perfectly good path of a camera start going underground for no reason after placing down a FOV change. definitely A LOT of improvements to be made but not bad for a relatively new mod
@@deeeeniiiiss yeah I definitely agree, some things definitely don’t work as well as they could, but they have been updating the mod very frequently so hopefully some of these things are refined!

I usually just cut up my audio and put it where it fits the best. Or you can perform an action in mc at the same time as you make a noise and line it up that way. ex. speak while you move your head up and down or make a popping sound at the same time you shoot a firework There’s probably a better way but those methods have worked for me :)

Thank you! I appreciate the kindness :) I think I understand what you’re saying, let me try and put my answer another way. Your flashback audio will already be linked with your Minecraft footage. If you’d like yourself to speak over it and have that be linked to your flashback footage as well, it is similar to how when making movies they will have to align the audio to the picture. They’ve created a tool, I’m sure you’ve seen before, I think it’s called a clapper. When they clap the clapper they’re able to align the sound of the clap to the footage of it. So in Minecraft, when youre trying to do this, we don’t have clappers. You have to get creative with how you can align your audio to your footage. That’s why I suggested head movements or a firework rocket.
I’m guessing you’re asking that when your player opened a chest, why can’t the recording see the contents? In which case Flashback is only for recording the world around the player not what the player sees. I would download OBS or some other screen recording software for that.
@@onyxJS Using the new "scene" feature can make it easier, depending what you're trying to do. Just make a new scene for each camera movement, then you can go back and edit one if need be later!

I’d be happy to help :) 1) In the flashback configuration menu, there should be an option to record simple voice chat :) 2) If you click on a player, there should be a place where you can input a uuid. If you change your skin to the skin you’d like to be in the replay, then go to namemc.com and search for your Minecraft username to find your uuid, you can copy and paste it into flashback to get the skin you want. I haven’t personally tried this but this is what I’ve read on the Flashback discord.

@ its just vanilla plus, theres no actual game changing mods, maybe for youtube or an smp it would be fine but without basic mods like create its barely modded
