Why not use this situation to teach these future California taxpayers what happens when the state does no more fire mitigation work?

0:50 "A historic barn and thousands of acres of nature now...mostly gone". The barn is gone and will be rebuilt. The thousands of acres of nature are all still there. And since fire is a part of nature, especially in California, nothing could be more natural.

Fire is essential for our California and western ecosystems. You shouldn’t say the nature was “decimated”. It will grow back much better, and those grasslands you’re worried about are invasive oats meant for cattle. This is a win for nature. Families houses being burned is a shame though.
