The Sixers were probably the worst 1-seed in conference seeding history 😂😂 but I will give them this: for all the grief (some justified) that Allen Iverson got over the course during his playing days, this was BY FAR the best season of his HOF career. He carried an otherwise-lottery caliber roster to the NBA Finals and singlehandedly won G1 in Los Angeles. and realistically, kept this series close until they all collectively ran out of gas.
They ran out of gas twords the 4th quarter they started missing important shots ..Allen shouldn't pass the ball once he saw they were tired he should of started taking over and getting matumbo in the game stronger they would of won that game I can see there energy was much higher in Philly then LA they should of won that one Facts no excuses

Also, if you take away the superstars from these eras, the teams sucked bad. A bunch of guys who can’t hit shots. Superstars are interchangeable in any era, but the rest of the league, which makes up about 90% of the players, sucked back then, that remaining 90% from today’s game would absolutely murder teams from that era.
Iverson at this point was better than Kobe . If you switch Kobe to Philly do they get to the finals with that squad and A.I to Lakers with Shaq Lakers might have more consecutive rings
This was the season Beans became better than the Answer. The top 10 was Shaq Kobe AI Timmy D Webber KG Ray Allen TMac VC Dirk & The Mailman were the top players in 2000-01 of course

Not true every game was close except game 4 in this series. For it only being a 5 game series this was one of the most exciting series it could have been.
