Its just like remote control essentially i had to look into it more bc its been bugging me not knowing n i really aint even need to know that shit at all besides it was killing me not knowing, and gettin the 'sounds too good to be true' feeling from it. Ion see why ppl call it cheating tho if it just remote controls it off a sequencer, its just hard to time that 1000% right at a faster bpm like the double bass patterns is usually at. If yall consider that cheating i wonder how those same ppl feel about replacing the drumset w drum machine sequencing/MPC
Ok it looks like it just motorizes the double bass part, i couldnt tell what it was doin at first...but ion even play drums n i like needed to know what drum triggers did just bc i doubted it played for u, and it seems like it doesnt n u still have to kick the bass pedal but it looks like u can make it roll every hit for u Ion know what they do n its been bothering me not knowing so if im right or wrong please lmk
Drum triggers are more like motion detecting sensors that produce an output of a prerecorded/preset sample if I need to dumb it down and from what I understand. First of all there's many types theres ones like these on the pedals and there're others that are mounted on the drums. They simply register every input like pedal contact or stick contact regardless of intensity (there's dynamic triggers too) and send a signal to the sound module, the module then plays a sample , it doesn't make you play faster it just makes your sound uniform you still have to or infact have to be even more precise and actually play every single note with triggers . @@YOUARESOFT. ion: an atom or molecule with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons. Hanh u wasnt expectin me to do that
So like whats the point of it (i play guitar and my drummer is an MPC so ion get what they really do ) ion play drums or really even know any drummers anymore so i always have been like 'the name suggests it will hit the drum for u, but probably not' and it doesnt look like they automate anything either. It looks like its just adding rebound kickback to make the pedal stutter, like it seems like it just makes double bass stuff easier if uk how to use it, but again dont play drums, so ion kno Either way if u could like explain what the even do bc its one of those questions ion kno the answer to, ion need the answer to, but i really want to know what the hell they even really do ever since i seen them on amazon and said 'i doubt it actually triggers the drum for u' So ya if u could explain what they even do in a simpler comment than mine thatd be cool, its one of those questions i just gotta know the answer to for literally no reason except that its been driving me insane ever since a video on here mentioned them a few days ago, in comparison to playing live w a click, and/or backing tracks So ya what do they even do?
they are essentially triggers. So theres a couple of scenarios why people use them. if you live in an apartment, and your bass kick is really loud, using these would help. Essentially muffle the head and trigger with these. Outside of that, they are super accurate. Sometimes with electronic bass heads, beaters can bounce off the head causing another note to be triggered. These are accurate all the time. Im sure there’s more reasons but yeah those are two big ones.
Sounds like a blown out motor trying to turn over with a blown out bike inner tube flopping around the motor fan
