This happened to me. Went for a ride and had high engine temp come up and RPM wouldn't go past 3200. Lifted the seat and coolant was everywhere with engine steaming. Found one of the formed hoses had ruptured and thermostat was gone as well. Replaced all hoses and new thermostat as well as oil change as it was so hot. Ski is now running fine . This was on a 2019 rxpx300 with 375 hours. Love your channel guy's 👍
@@3ftDeepChannel my seadoo is 2011 RXT260 256hours have really so many problem before, now is iBR is cannot fix it's and cannot buy a new one because no more stock and very expensive. my code is C2114 and P1661, do you know what's happen? thanks help~
Sounds like an electrical issue. Check the wires coming to and from your iBR and make sure all the connections are good. Make extra sure your ground wire is properly grounded. Check your battery, too. Make sure the 3 ground wires on the front of your engine block are properly screwed onto the block. It could be your iBR, but check all of your electrical connections to your various parts before consider replacing your iBR. Good luck.
i check the 3 wires is good conduction, in setting i can set up the iBR move up and down. same have this code, anything i can do it ? thanks help~ C2114 IBR_II Monitoring CPU message timeout or validity iBR malfunction. Perform an iBR software update if available and clear the fault. Replace the iBR unit if the fault remains active. Refer to the service manual for more details.
That's what we first thought, but turns out the part from BRP isn't that much more expensive and it's the right shape and length. Thanks for your comment.
Hello there , I have a 2018 ssadoo rxtx300 and is giving me the code for oil temperature p0197 but I replaced it but still giving me the same code . Any suggestions? Thanks
Do you have a service manual for your machine? If not, you should get one. Sometimes the codes need to be cleared with a computer. Sometimes they clear after an hour or so of riding. I would verify the sensor was your problem, though before putting it back into use. Good luck.
NGK KR9E-G. Or Sea-Doo part number: 296000421. You can find parts for your machine here: shop.sea-doo.com/ca/en/shop/sales/parts/?aribrand=SEA_DOO_EN_CA_CAD
Wow, that’s terrible. From the comments we’ve received it looks like this isn’t just a fluke incident, but rather indicative of a faulty part that probably should be a recall item by Sea-Doo. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for the info, Mick!
The best videos!
Thanks!
You guys rock and have helped my learn a lot about my seadoos
Thanks, Shiniqua.
Check Georges steering. It didn't feel correct when I took it for a ride. Turned one way better then the other. Nice video.
thanks, Mike. He didn’t say anything when he brought it by. Probably his cable is getting a bit corroded.
Nice to see high milage seadoos, mine is at 119hr 2011 🥰
Our friend is a dedicated 4-season rider, that’s for sure.

The second thermostat on the 16/17s are known to go bad and cause this
Thanks for the tip, Dennis.
I'm thinking I would head to the auto parts store and see if I could find a hose that has that same shape. Might work, might not.

I have the exact same problem with my 2017 rxt 300 with 70 hours on it same hose seadoo in australia cant give me one for 3 to 6 months
That’s bizarre. I wonder how widespread this problem is. thanks for your comment.

Boa sorte.
@@3ftDeepChannel e qual seria a recomendada para o seadoo rxp 300 2019 ?

Seadoo quality + more than 30 hours = $$$$$$
Powersports = $$$$$$$$
Headgasket failure could cause this. I would do a compression test while waiting for parts
That was filmed some months ago, but that’s good advice. We’ll suggest that to him and see what he finds. Thanks for your comment.
Leak down better
i hade the same problem this summer on sea-Doo rxt 300 2018 with only 130hours
