Or the ceramic dagger which is always at 11x with a riven (or you can use melee crescendo). But with outburst and orange shards... well you need to check by yourself, but the book becomes pretty insane. But I really think for once that swapping an ability is a waste, of course you can only swap 1, but this is probably the best 1st ability in the game, and I even use the Vome invocation on it (so I could have a stronger build), for 60% more power strenght (of course it works to summon a stronger book).
Secondary encumber, with ceramic dagger, or any melee that can build high combo, or melee crescendo .... and orange shards, you can get a total of +75% critchance for each orange tauforged, and +220% critchance AND +220% cridamage with the arcane :) All of this on a weapon that does slash dmg, it's pretty insane. I did a level cap void cascade, even without armor strip it destroys anything, and i have the Vome invocation mod, so not the max dmg output
Not a question on Dante…. Looking at the build displayed on screen, it showed the primary weapon as touch of malice and secondary as tractor cannon. As best as I can find, neither of those two are weapons within Warframe- but they ARE within Destiny. Am I missing something in game or is he having fun with photoshop?
I like the first one better. You don't have to prime everyone. You just hit a couple of buttons and you nuke everyone. Sure it requires shards, but you can get those.

Alt fire hits 1-5 million with a good build much better than most secondary weapon damage outputs. Put xata invocation on it and solves your energy problems and frees up the equilibrium slot for more strength. Don't need duration or good efficiency with him. And you can kit way higher number than your builds you showcased. Very lack luster no need to try to helminth every frame. He is a very well rounded frame that doesn't need a helminth ability
Roar just makes his nuke better because of how it mathematically works. But I agree with you that Noctua is absolutely viable and shouldn't be thrown as an option. It has many QoL thanks to grimoire mods while actually priming/doing good enough damages. By the way I just noticed the birds from you 3 and 2 charge your secondary fire.

I did attempt levelcap on new tile set with noctua as focus of my build. Needless to say I've failed miserably as of now. Damage falls of drastically post 3k lvl and I need to think out of box.

Energy nexus means the book is basically infinite ammo the meme. Jack up the fire rate and boom, lots of dead grineer. Also why would you say the book has bad damage? That thing can nuke with the right setup.
But the interaction is worth it actually. You basically triple your DoT damages (because it counts as a faction damage buff) and translate it to a big nuke.
I like Lavos and played around with Dante a bit yesterday. Both frames utilize pressing your buttons a lot, Dante moreso. However, Dante feels much better despite the increase in button presses
dont use umbral intensify use archon the hp bump from the light verse counts as ability healing procing the extra 30% pwr every time u press it along with molt you will pass precision intensify on every ability
saw a build with equilibrium my first thought was to take off that put on streamline and precision intensify in place of blind range. less power more spamming you can put red archon shards and archanes to make up for power.

Dante is op, 72k overguard which you can keep stacking with strength, a nuking capability of 1mil damage average after doing two of his third then activating his fourth, easy crowd control with his third and the fourth nuke, healing for the team, damage buff for the team, heavy slash procs
duration is good because you dont have to keep casting the light verses for the 4th so you can spend more time casting the dark verses. Also efficiency is worthless when the abilities only cost 25 and 50 energy. I use energize with 45% efficiency and have no problems

Priming is basically adding a ton of effects on the enemy, sort of like weakening and debuffing them, then using your ability/melee/primary to kill them easier and faster. Meanwhile the operator thing, I just suggest to finish the main quest first to avoid spoilers. You must complete the quest, "The War Within".
If you like it and have fun shooting it then leave it. I am sure its not that bad of a weapon, its just there are better options for weapon dps, and Dante himself deals good damage over a large area.
his book is fcking nuts if you mod it well, its only worse than the very best weapons in the game, and even then, if you mod it with the energy regen tome mod and remove equilibrium for strenght, you probably get a bigger nuke with equal energy management I can do billion dmg alt fires with his book and good setup

Nerf is coming I guarantee you. If it's one thing I learned from playing Warframe for the past 10 years. DE nerf anything that can nuke the room. Example Ember world of fire was 4th ability was great for running a relice farm, killing enemies by pressing any other button
But Ember was super dumb, pressing one button and killing everything is not good balance, Dante at least is very active in his gameplay, gotta combo properly to clear and survive, and this is "base Steel Path", if he can clear lvl cap effortlessly all while face tanking everything then maybe DE will nerf him indeed.

So I have a question. Since Im not really into grimoires, I decided to subsume his 1st and replaced it with nourish or something else to play him as a Caster using tragedy and page flight. Now the setup I ve most comfortably worked with is Epitaph for priming and status then tragedy = nuke. However, heavy sp enemies dont get nuked. So my question is as follows: since his Tragedy applies all the DOTs at once, this means that a primary weapon with big AOE and ton of status chance might work for nuking everything, however the big aoe weapons suffer from ammo. Since I dont have Kuva Ogris to test I was wondering if maybe Kuva Ogris with Energized munitions, 2 casts of dark verse + tragedy might do the trick. Kuva Ogris deals dot heat from the explosion with napalm and that could in theory work as a primer (and also big damage cause just priming is not enough) right? Im waiting for these types of combos with Dante. Big aoe weapons that also inflict DOT that ultimately combine with Tragedy for maximum nuke.
@@Jen_meja Word Warden People sleep on the book summon so much. Even with 1 helminthed you still get to use the book as your summon, turning any weapon into an aoe status spreading machine. You can mod it to be good against the faction you're playing as, or you could run it as a primary slapping blast, radiation, and electric on it. That's 3 statuses no one else is likely to be running, while your main dps weapon handles the bulk of the damage. Turn on Page Flight and laugh as things die to a million statuses.
I love my Dante! I mainly like to use his abilities more than anything, so I build for lots of strength/range. I use equilibrium for health and energy (alongside energize). I also like to use the huras kubrow for that invis (extra layer of survivability).

i totally agree with you! If you have cascadia flare with your secondary and heat on your noctua you get the 480% dmg buff too
