the woman in 17:55 was one of my law professors. she got a commendation for convicting a sinaloa cartel member to life imprisonment and went on to become a justice in the court of appeals. what’s being done there is raffling and is essentially a court proceeding. as of now, while raffling is done is open court, members of the media must seek permission from the court to attend as they are not considered interested parties and they may only take notes and may not record any part of the proceedings with gadgets without permission. in the video, it seems that the media did not ask for permission from the court as the judge had to ask why they were there in the first place. the point of this is to maintain the credibility of the raffling process by only allowing those who have business being there (ie. parties whose cases are being raffled) to be there and to avoid any suspicion of bias/undue influence by disinterested persons.

only way to totally control drug is like what Singapore is doing - strict punishment including death penalty & education. but most importantly is government nedds to provide jobs & opportunities for its citizens otherwise no matter how tough the law is drug trafficking will always remain
Singapore is tiny compare to Philippines, it's easier for Singapore to patrol/guard all its border against the inflow of illegal drugs. Philippines has a coastal lines twice as much as the United States and given the current resources of Philippine Coast Guard and Navy it would be impossible to patrol every km of these coastal areas, on top of it Philippines is an archipelago consisting of 7000+ islands, plus you add the corruption in the govt - thus it's virtually impossible to control the influx of these drugs.
What's scary is that throughout the video, the man being interviewed was not lying. In fact, if you read his body language or non-verbals around his eye movement, his eyes were looking towards his left and down, meaning he's trying to recollect facts while also confirming with himself if what he's saying is right before saying it. And in 8:21 it seems the man at the center is very dominant, as he sits at a figure four lock position while both of his hands are on his one leg, which could indicate stress and self soothing. Still, in a split milisecond, his eyes wander off to his right side, which could indicate lying. 🤔

Law is opponent of law
i just remembered the absolute chaos that ensued when both police and PDEA (Philippines Drug enforcement agency) had a gun fight all because of uncoordinated operations. dont know which side was the undercover buyer trying to catch people that sells drugs and the other is an undercover seller trying to catch drug buyers. but im sure after the investigation the police were the one found at fault because they were the first group that fired first and PDEA just fired back for self-defense. also the police actually killed PDEA agents during that encounter meanwhile the PDEA agents only shot the police's legs
This NBI officer is right, why not lawmakers modified the law for Enforcer to be easier and harder for the Criminals.
