If I recall correctly, Chaos Elementals don't even need the hallow biome to spawn. In fact, the hallow is detrimental to their spawns, because everything else is so common. They really just spawn on pearlstone or pearlsand, so having a layer of that should work pretty well.

As a method to mitigate inflation you could set it so that after a few weeks people aren’t allowed to craft more mana crystals. That’d make the economy more stable

What macro do you use? I've struggled to find one for quite some time now. I'm glad to see TerraCorps is back, too! I got really invested in the first season and was upset when I got to the last episode.

Have you ever tried inviting chippy or maybe some other big name terraria youtubers like Wand of Sparking or Gungnir? I love this series but I can’t help but want it to be even more ambitious, like Hermitcraft, and have massive youtubers collaborating together on projects.
I have asked Chippy, and he said it wasn't his cup of tea. I haven't ever spoken with Wand of Sparking or Gungir, however. Afraid I don't know them (at this point, at least)
@@Khaios That's a shame, but I can respect that response from him, he hasn't ever really done a whole lot of building-type content.
I am super interested in seeing this series potentially grow tho, so i collected a list of people that I think would be awesome for a season 3 if you end up doing one. Some of these options are nowhere near as big as they used to be, and some of them have been inactive for a little bit of time. But I think that the existence of a massive terraria collaboration project could potentially both respark their interest in making videos and also reignite their audience's attentions. Some of them as well might just be too big to take notice. But regardless I think reaching out and trying to organize something could be awesome. So here goes:
Furyforged. Honestly, surprised you haven't done a collab yet! For me personally, you practically replaced him in terms of being a building expert in terraria. He mostly does noita now, but considering he is especially a builder, I think he could be down to join.
HappyDays. He is one of the largest terraria youtubers of all time, but he also has stopped uploading somewhat recently. I think reaching out is possible.
MTEN. One I remember fondly, and he used to be quite big. He still uploads somewhat often, and I think he might be interested.
Adrian. A fast growing terraria youtuber. Not sure if he'd be interested in this sort of thing but might be worth a try anyway.
Waffletime. Mostly does challenges, so once again not certain if he'd have much interest.
Wand Of Sparking. Very active, and absolutely love his content. He mostly does Terraria and Stardew Valley challenges, so I'm not certain that building would be much of his thing, but I think it's another possibility.
MappyGaming. You've probably seen his videos, he makes crazy contraptions that will kill bosses in a single tick. I think he would suit this sort of thing really well, because even tho he hasn't really done much building stuff, he does know his wiring and terraria mechanics, which going off hermitcraft makes for some awesome things.
Gungnir. He does lets plays, I think he could be a great fit.
Baumproductions. He used to do a lot of lets plays. Unfortunately he hasn't been active for over a year, but I think it's still possible. In researching for this youtube comment (a line you'd never think you'd say) I realize that you've raided him before, so you are probably aware of him.
Gameraiders 101. I think his style of video could fit pretty well into Terracorps.
Edward/Terrariahelp. He hasn't uploaded in a long time, and has had periods of business over the years. But it's possible, and I think he'd be a great fit.
PythonGB. He has in the past been an actual member of hermitcraft, but he also loves terraria and probably was more famous for terraria than MC back in the day.
This is just my list of suggestions for people I think would be awesome in this series, or probably a season 3 at this stage. But also on top, I think just encouraging the current members to continue their own youtube channels. ATM, i've realized that several of them are making terracorps videos, or have done in the past, but it can be really hard to find their channels. Hermitcraft has a pretty basic website, and I think you should implement something similar. You don't need to list every video like they do, but I think listing all the member's channels and a brief description would be pretty great. Also, one thing that I've thought about is the fact that the scale of projects are quite small compared to Hermitcraft projects. I would love to see members building huge, themed bases, over the course of several episodes, rather than just a single build per person. It's really awesome seeing someone in Hermitcraft being an ocean lord or having a massive factory empire. Of course, this is a lot more difficult to achieve with such a small terraria world, and considering that farming is nowhere near as big as in minecraft, since most of the game revolves around mob drops, but I think some compromise could be possible. Overall, just seeing more uniformity or collaborations I think could really elevate the series, but yeah, the size of the world kind of restricts things a lot. If terraria's worlds worked like Starbound's does, it would be super ideal, but maybe it's really an idea for terraria 2 unfortunately, depending on how that game works (on a side note, a hermitcraft series in starbound would be absolutely amazing!)
Ultimately, it's up to you how you want to run Terracorps, and it's still really enjoyable, but I just really want to see it be a bigger thing, since its combining 3 awesome things; Hermitcraft, Terraria, and Khaios.

Dropping mediumcore has definitely been the best decision you've taken for the new season. Are you planning to use some of the QoL mods that you have talked about before in this season or will you wait for Season 3?
PS: Sybonn's voice sometimes reminds me of Gijs which makes me kind of sad because I loved him.

Hey I don't know if this was in the game previously or it's a 1.4.4 thing but whenever an enemy hits you with the cactus armor on now it does damage to the enemies and I don't know if that is a feature that they added or if that was previously in the game but I don't think it was.
