i've met ALOT of gay people here in LA (especially in W. hollywood) and you honestly can't tell whose gay or not...the glance thing is too general... alot of men look at other men who are fit and admire them with a quick glance...they don't say anything because they're afraid they would get labeled as gay if they do... but it's a common thing...
like it's literally too hard to tell whose gay or not unless they're that openly flamboyant type you find in west hollywood...only way to tell outside of that is if you ask...

A study that we bisexuals love to cite is along the same lines of what Davey's saying- they found that people's pupils dilate when looking at people they find attractive. It's a totally involuntary reaction, so it's pretty accurate.

Sorry but I don't think this method is as accurate as you say it is. I knew my friend was gay when we were in PE in middle-school. We would sometimes talk about what we would do in a zombie apocalypse and he brought up the scenario of us being trapped in a closet surrounded by zombies. He told me that he would probably kiss me. He also grabbed my butt once... And he gently stroked my hair when my head was in his lap as I was laying across everyone's legs for a group photo with our friends... He also complimented on my figure way more than anyone I knew... Wow, he is WAY gayer than I thought he was.

Yeah, i don't know about this, personally, i do that when i see girls that i think are gorgeous and I'm like: "shit, i wish i looked like her"; or if i see a girl that has an awesome outfit, cool accessories, shoes that i think are cute, etc; i even do that with my mom or if i'm hanging with a friend and then we talk about their clothes..i mean, most girls do that. If you are intelligent and internally honest, you can tell if a man is homosexual by looking at him. People are energy beacons and they transmit all kinds of information in several ways. The visual alone is enough. If you want to know if a man is gay, look at him.
Once you've established he's gay, you need to know if he accepts it. Look again. You should be able to tell by his mentality and level of consciousness.

Yes, people do lie, but assuming your friends are lying and accusing them of being gay when they probably are not is not a good idea. If they were actually gay chances are they would tell you one day anyway, but if they are not lying and they are actually straight you are quickly going to annoy them by calling them a liar and might lose a friend.
Here's how you can tell if someone is gay. This is a really tough test, so pay close attention.
You ask "are you gay?"
If they say yes, then they are gay.
It is foolproof - except when the guy is in denial, then it gets ugly, fast. I have used this all my life, and it works. When two gay men are checking each other out, there is also a second glance usually with a slight smile, or a surprising amount of direct eye contact as the chat about mundane things like the weather. Most straight men either miss this entirely or get weirded out. Often, there is a slight discomfort because they realize someone else's "knows their secret". This usually applies to closeted guys, or those struggling with their sexuality or accepting it.

as a straight man, i personally find men physically attractive so do sometimes give a glance over but wouldn't act on it. i am saying this as in gay guys do not get your hopes up, but best way as i have had people do it to me is try and chat up the person if the person deliberately shuts you down then they are straight if they go with it or get aroused by the conversation with you then good luck

I'm straight, but have a lot of Gay friends, and I was aways stumped at how a lot of straight guys think I'm Gay, but no Gay guys seem to think it. What if a dude's just a slim build, and he's looking at another guy who's ripped and just imanining himself having that kind of body? I think there should be a proposal for a gay code of response. This code of response could be privately implemented. The gay code of response allow for the detection of other gay people and could ONLY be use within the gay community. The code have various mechanism of action. The initiation phase is activated when a gay person speak a phrase or draw a configuration, awaiting for another gay individual to activate the responding phase. The responding phase is activated by a gay person when he or she have heard or seen the activation of the initiation phase. The activation of the responding phase is mediated by a responding phrase or the continuation of the configuration from the initiation phase. The responding phase shall only be use by a gay person to signifies his or her sexuality. If a gay person chooses not to respond, they may do so at ease.

It's true, if a straight male happens to turn and see another male from behind, he'll quickly turn his gaze to a nearby woman, or even to the wall just to avoid making eye contact with another male.
When I was in college, my mom figured out that I'm gay.
I'm very much "Straight-acting" , meaning stereotypical masculine.
She said that I looked at men the way a straight man looks at a woman.
maybe this is why people think I'm gay, my eyes will look regardless of gender. it's more of defensive mechanisms then checking out.
This doesn't work on the following types of people:
Very shy/submissive/introverted: They will avoid looking at anyone.
Paranoid/former military: They will look at everyone.
I've seen guys do this and I know they are straight. A lot of people in general check one another out so I don't see how this is "foolproof".

Maybe not all generalisations are true, but even if this video wasn't about gayness, the way you present yourself, your poses, posture and voice, all screams gay to me. I usually don't care about the people around me in public, not at all, and it's very rare I take looks at them, but then I take a look at someone no matter their gender. I'm a gay guy though. When I look at people I don't always get cought by their looks, but other beauties. I also am an artist, and not so very social. I don't think this is a 100% solution for checking that out, but you're right in that most people will check out people who's looks their like. Love your videos, you're a funny, adorable man! Not all guys do this either. If you are physically bigger than most people you won't be as attentive to smaller males as your subconscious relays that they are not a threat. and I can see where you are going with this, I like to people watch so this advice can also be misleading (video advice) but it's good to know that there is that factor when you are watching another guy to see if he bat's for your team or not
