The fact that you didn’t pay $4 more to get free shipping at Forever 21 hurt my poor person soul.

Technically she needed to pay $15 more to get free shipping, the $4 was on the order that she was purchasing express shipping so it would have been pointless to add that $4!

Fun fact: a lot of companies will refund the money you paid for shipping if it did not come in the designated time frame but it has to be business days!
My impression of Amazon Prime was that it gave you free shipping and not faster shipping. That way if you make lots of orders, you don't have to worry about paying every time.
I work for a small business and so I’m pretty involved with the fulfillment side. Honestly, the express/expedited shipping means more abiut time of fulfillment than anything else. We could have over a hundred orders to process but if someone paid for priority shipping that we pack and ship their package first, even if they were the last to order. Of course it’s still delivered in a guaranteed time, but if it’s a slow week, so will everything else.

If you are someone who buys a lot from Amazon or likes to get things fast, then it is great. If you're not gonna actually use it, then it's really not worth it.

Amazon is completely seller specific I believe. when I compare the shipping ranges between prime and not prime when it's available, I think prime is worth it. I use it with my whole family and it is super convenient because things can come as early as the next night. Amazon is good for buying weird stuff lmao, like extra watch bands or weird starter phone cases you can't find in stores.
Getting Amazon prime was one of the biggest mistakes I've made

I live near an amazon warehouse (within an hour), so having prime allows us to order products in the early morning and receive them the day of. Otherwise it's usually 1 day shipping. Without prime it is a standard couple of days, so prime for us is definitely worth it.
I love 10 minutes from a warehouse and never get anything same day 😅

processor is that thing you have on your laptop that says "Intel Core i5" or AMD, depending on the specs you have for your laptop.
the latest processor will give you a faster speed but it takes up RAM too which is another component that is in your laptop. If your RAM isn't sufficient then its not necessary. Then again, these would cost money to buy for upgrading and installing. If your laptop is kinda old, 3+(?), I think getting a new laptop with better specs is more worth it. You could always go to any IT store and ask for recommendations as well on what you should do :) Hope this helps!

Maybe Prime is different in Canada, but I have never ever had a prime item take more than 1-2 days! I thought 2-day shipping was the point of Prime.

For Shien's order, the reason why you got both packages at the same time because you ordered them on the same. because it comes from China, it's easier for them to send the orders in bulk, especially if it's from the same place. It saves them cost, but if you were to make both orders separately then you would have been able to see the variation in shipping time.

Amazon prime is an advantage though, because you pay one price per month and you get free shipping for most items. In the states you can get 1 day shipping now too. I pay around $7 for student prime and never have to pay shipping for anything, so it’s worth it to me. Interesting video tho, thanks Mia!

ive noticed that on a lot of prime items you really have to pay attention to their estimated shipping. Some prime items have gauranteed next day or 2 day shipping while other prime items will say guaranteed by a certain date which can sometimes be up to two weeks form the purchase date. most items that arent prime eligible wont have a guaranteed delivery date they''ll give you an estimate which is usually at least 5 business days from the purchase date but can go up to weeks and months.
Edit: Those lettuce edge/ lace edge socks like you ordered were literally the only socks i owned in elementary school lol

Prime is definitely good because it depends on the shipper or company that’s shipping out without prime . It can take over a month. (I just bought a sweater and it’s arriving between nov 22nd and December 13th when I ordered it 2 weeks ago) and that’s without prime
