- Today we finally went to thrash the Stancerdancer! THIS CAR LOOKS SO SICK DRIFTING!!! The car worked amazing. Steering is awesome, drivetrain and clutch are great, and the LSD locks up as it should! The car stayed nice and cool as well! BOOM! Car is a ripper. The car did have too long of a diff ratio for this track, BUT, it still was able to rip and make some pretty good smoke for the NA M50 That kicks about 170 horsepower or so.
The ASD handbrake is sized perfectly and has really good feel as well. Overall I am bummed I am giving the car away now! haha. The next owner should have a lot of fun with the car.

2nd is a bit too long and 1st is too short so you keep clutch-kicking in second. I have to say you are doing surprisingly good with that weird gearing.

Same shit happened in my s50 swapped e30, tossed a different 413red in it and it’s been fine since. Certainly is a pain in the ass when it happens in traffic

I you put cats on it, it would pass emissions I would imagine. Im pretty sure the active stuff is CARB.

Chelsea DeNofa that’s too bad man, was pretty hyped about, too bad I stumbled on your channel too late. Got a quick question, was watching your how to vid on the donut and you didn’t mention anything about a limited slip diff. I’ve got an E34 m50 5 speed and it has a 3.23 limited slip diff, will this be good for starting out drifting? I know the e34 isn’t the best choice but I absolutely love the car, looks great, drives great. Not planning on making it a full time drift mobile but just want to have some good fun. Thanks man.

Can you please explain the exhaust mods in order to receive those flames? I've seen on a m52b28 with full m3 exhaust (s50b32) spit the same flames.

Finally got my diff welded now I just have to plumb my hydro. But do I really need a bucket seat? Like can I live without one and just slide around in my seat? I just can't find a cheap seat

What kind of pressure/camber do you run to spin the 245s on the compact? I ran 215/40/18 amazon specials on my rear at 30-35psi cold(e36 coupe m50tu with injecors, 3.5 maf/intake, tune by rk, 3.91) last PARC event and I feel like its ok grip, but if I could get more grip, and smoke, it would be awesome.
More grip means less smoke. On the compact I run between 20 and 35 psi, depends on who I am driving with.

I prefer 7 to 10% Ackerman with 3/8 tow out.
Just wondering how much does a week in ebisu cost ex. Flights and purchasing a car, Say just on tyres, fuel, food and accommodation? Are the hotels far away from the track, would you need a rental car to get back and forth?
Probably about 10k your first time. It can be done for less, but thats a good planned number. Check out lone star drift. He does a complete breakdown.

nice! is it big difference in handling 4 doors and compacts ?
They are all the same wheelbase and chassis dimensions. BUT the compact is the only e36 with E30 style rear suspension. So that makes a big handling difference.

Compact for fun, other e36's for competition.
Compacts for a missile have the disadvantage that you need to modify the rear axle to shed some caster or you'll go through tires much faster than sedan/coupe. Big advantage of Compact as a missile is that you can haul more wheels in the trunk space

Blanco Escondido There were a few things I didn't like about the slicktop. For example the vossen wheels, dented quarterpanel or the fact it wasn't dialed in like this car is. But saying something like you did is not fair at all. I would probably pick Tommy's E36 tbh
