I’m curious how you felt in the stateroom with 4 people? Did the kids sleep well on the couch & upper bunk? Our last cruise we did the family veranda but this time we’re doing the standard size and our kids are growing (and growing!) taller. I’m wondering how well my 5’7” daughter will do on the couch bed.
The pier walk wouldn’t be bad for me personally, as a healthy individual, but not looking forward to it with my 2 yr old. 😣 It’s either going to be me carrying her the whole way or taking a stroller and having to lug that around all day. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes when we visit there.
from what ive seen they have complimentary strollers and wagons there. you could get off the ship and use a wagon to get across the pier and drop it off at the end, so no need to lug it around all day. the strollers are off-road type stroller too. just be aware that i think there is only so many wagons and strollers to go around...hope this helps.
I don't know how anyone ate with all those flies. Disney must find a way to get rid of them. Other vloggers reported that the flies actually migrated onto the ship and become a problem at the poolside eateries.
@@AddictedtotheMouse If you'll watch the other vlogger's videos, you can see the problem for yourself. The buffet was self serve and the food was covered with flies. People were covering their plates with napkins. I think those videos were from the very first guests to visit Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Perhaps Disney already took steps to mitigate the problem before your cruise. Am I correct to assume you weren't with the very first ship?
@@Lovesapuzzle correct, we were the second and third to stop there. I saw several of the videos and was also on the same ship as other vloggers. They were a problem, but not as much of one as the videos would make you think. We got fresh food from the windows that flies weren’t on, covered our plates, and ate them at the tables by the fly deterrent fans. Flies are gross, but not a huge deal at all.
Embarkation Leslie is the level of joy that I aspire to be every day! Love it!!
Haha, she is ❤️
I’m so happy for you guys to enjoy this cruise! 🎉❤🎉
Hi Dan and Leslie!! Great cruise videos!! Was wondering if you saw The Trackers - they were also on this sailing!! Congrats on 17.4K!!
Yeah we ran into Tim a lot. Also the lost bros and theme park express. It was a popular one

Yep, they did great! I’m sure they would rather have their own full beds, but they’re happy to make it work to get to go
I’m sure other want to know as well, but what are the kids doing while you are doing other stuff on the ship.
Hanging out with friends and in the kids club

If you could build your ideal DCL itinerary would you visit Castaway first or Lighthouse first? Or don’t care just happy to be there. 😊
Hmm, don’t care which is first but would want to do both 🤗

lol, they really weren’t THAT bad. A problem, yes, but a pretty mild one.
