I just finished hellblade 2 and i cannot express how amazing and beautiful the game is. Do NOT listen to the critics, if you loved the first game for its story, you will adore the second.
I reeeeeeeeally want this game to succeed to the highest magnitude. I loved the first one, and although I didn’t initially think it needed a sequel, I have faith in Ninja Theory to deliver another great tale.

On the topic of the game not needing a sequel, I really like that theyre taking such a different direction and making it feel so different from the first game. In terms of others being around you, and senua's confidence (even if it continues to be challenged)

I would have sat through this while thing engaged if it was a movie or a documentary. But then I'm remembered it was a game and I was screaming where's the game play... if this was a GoW clone with all the crazy stuff on top.... I don't think I've ever been so seen. As a paranoid schizophrenic, this meant so much to me. To finally hear the words and how to describe it to people without failing like i did everytime I tried to in the past. This game will mean so much to me. Just as the first did.
I hope you know how important this game is. It's so so rare to see a big studio working on something this profound, thoughtful, and meaningful. Thank you

Easily the most anticipated game of 2024 for me.
The first game was absolutely mind-blowing, and hearing Ronan Harris in the outro haunts me to this very day.
Excited to experience a new locale with Iceland, to see additional characters and how they react to Senua's perception of the world.
The first game was such a unique experience... Can't wait to try this one!

I connected with Hellblade on more levels than I'd like. I watched the first game's dev diaries as I was going through my ill mental health recovery from a mental break down. It's nice to think in the same way where I was scared of everything, I couldn't leave the house reliably, worried about surveillance and death, to where I am now where I have a full time job as an IT engineer - a functioning member of society, happy and I'm no longer ruled by worries and fears, so has Senua seemingly has learnt a bit more on how to harness it all and break down her fears. I still hear voices as I'm lying in bed, reading before I turn off the lights but without all those worries which were the debilitating part, in essence like her.
Thank you for continuing on this story. Because for those of us who are able to reach out of our darkest moments, life goes on - just like Senua's will.
I've seen so many functioning members of society (and just to make that clear, I'm not going to assume everyone is petty and cheap because of most of them), and in reality no one needs to be one (a cog of some sort, instead of a real team's member) to understand their worth, but I get what you're saying. We all need things by which we can get we're on some good path; now, the nature of those things can be very different to one another xD
And most ppl aren't very sane at this point (understandable to some extent, but not at all past that). So, we better start being more relaxed when judging others, btw.
Well, didn't watch this whole video to fully get this game's direction and story but it seems interesting, at least. In what way exactly, I can't judge yet.

Keep reaching a legit balance and stay as sane as possible, whatever that may mean during such times of weird waves of lunacy and the usual general bad traits of humankind, that most condemn, but usually excuse in themselves.
Btw... Serving psychosis etc as a "unique view of the world" seems suspicious to me.
Humans are always ready to excuse (only certain parts of) exceptions, and usually unnatural ones if I may say.

Man, even looking at the preview clips makes me feel like I’m right back in Senua’s Sacrifice.
I do not have psychosis but I do have C-PTSD and in the past year alone I have made such profound progress on my mental health journey. I, too, have gone from a victim of my experiences and letting fear stop me to a survivor who is truly living for the first time and seeing the world brighter every day. Knowing now that Senua is on a journey parallel to mine made me tear up watching this. I’ve been a fan since 2017 and through major inspiration by you guys as well as other companies I am hoping to get into the game industry. Thank you, Ninja Theory and everyone who touched this game, for putting such love, care and respect into what you do. It shows in every tiny detail and means the world to those of us who may be misunderstood for any reason beyond our control. I absolutely cannot wait to play and to root for our girl Senua again.

Ninja Theory is such an underrated studio in general
This is beautiful, I don't experience psychosis but I am neurodivergent. I am so proud to see the respect and care for representing people who experience the world differently from the social norm. For any interested souls, what Paul Fletcher is presenting here is the notion of predictive processing that posits prediction as a fundamental component of perception. There's a book by Andy Clark called "The Experience Machine", which is a nice introduction to the topic.
I've always considered the brain as a prediction engine. Our limbs move us around spatially, and our prediction engine helps us move around temporally. Will definitely check out that book!

This is the best game i have ever played. The original Senua's: Hellblade was a masterpiece, i played Senuas Saga: Hellblade 2 and im awestruck.. The music design, the world, the characters, the story... It renders me speechless, i will just say it again, this is a masterpiece and a work of art and love, the time and dedication all of you have shown to this game and story is nothing less than extraordinary! Thanks for making this a reality

How do you know "FOR SURE" that maybe NT has A way of how "They" want to market "their" game? Do you know that "their" contract is different from others at the company? How do you know "FOR SURE" that this isn't what Ninja Theroy wants? The head of NT said they would not sign if they didn't have freedom's. & that they will not compromise. @@hansbendixen5430 that's not what happened. Tango had 3 prior AAA flops. Then the studio head leaves and takes key talent with him. Tango was DOA. Arkane Austin took a shit load of time and resources with delay after delay and dropped Redfall which was a turd. And couldn't get it together with updates 4-6 months apart and a unfinished expansion. Alpha Dog made Mighty Doom which was a flop and Roundhouse is a support studio that just got absorbed into the primary studio they were supporting.
It's hilarious how people care so much for these studios especially Tango. But never supported their games 🤦🏿
Your hopes mean nothing. If Arrow don't go up for their service, they'll wipe Ninja Theory off the map.
I feel it's important to note - Not ALL psychosis sufferers endure what Senua endures. And can be viewed very differently. Psychosis is complex yet, the individual can live a very positive, flourishing life.
So while it's great creating an experience BASED on psychosis. It doesn't inheritently, and accurately portray everything someone would in the real world.
This is of course, a virtual environment. It's important not to forget that.
yea I have schizo effective disorder and ive been in phycosis and its not the same as other people ive met in recovery or in the hospital. I am looking forward to the game and finally have a computer to run it when it comes out.

The first game was a total surprise to me, I didn't knew anything about it and I bought it because I love deep storytelling games. What I experienced with the game was so special and unique, the game changed me and made me realize some things about myself, it helped me in way i didn't knew I need it. Senua has a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to travel with her again. Thanks NT for all the passion, respect, professionalism and dedication you put in your games. Wow - Ninja really take game development to another level entierly.
When Senua is fighting at the end of the first game, the music comes on, the battle is so beautiful. Its almost a metaphor for her fighting for her life. That first game was so good, I played it again immediately upon finishing it.
Very nice video. Loved the first game and its atmosphere, graphics, and concept. I'm really into psychology. Bought it for PS4 and I no longer have it, so I guess I will have to buy a console again for this.
This is also probably the most interesting video I have ever seen as part of official PR, very insightful. Especially now when we see a lot of shifts in general psyche or psyche of many people, we live in tumultuous times.

The conference that NT put on with these same speakers was very interesting. It helped me to understand what the team is trying to depict.
This documentary needs to be shown to everyone studying Neuroscience. Ninja Theory might take a long time to release their games but there's a reason for that, research and application can take a long time in order to be as accurate as possible. EDIT : David Garcia Diaz is such a wonderful person, the way he managed to transform regular audio into a mind-f*cking (un)believable feeling of actually hearing voices in your head (please wear headphones while playing both Hellblade games !) is amazing, last time I experienced such an auditive awe was with the first Dead Space game and it still haunts me to this day. Great job !

This game is a gift. I completely dont care about gameplay, I'm here for experience. When I learned that first game was created with a support and unpleasant experience of people suffering from psychosis i was left speechless. Imagining that this girl could really experience such trauma 1000 years ago just blew my mind.
