Seven years after the release of their last album 'Eternal', Stratovarius once more prove their status as Symphonic Metal flagship and come back with a big bang.
A blistering comeback from one of heavy metal’s most seminal bands, Survive is full of dynamics and drama, feeding on a wide range of emotions along the way. But the core message that this triumphant endeavour conveys is one of struggle, defiance, hope and victory.
With 'World On Fire', Stratovarius enter stage two on the way to the release of their new album 'Survive'. The band dives deeper into current world issues, finding more drastic words while staying true to their larger-than-life sound.

“World on Fire is a powerful song with an important message. Our planet is suffering. And it is because of us. We are destroying our own home planet. Climate change is happening, and we need to do everything in our power to slow it down. We need to think about our kids and future generations.”

No matter how much the band has changed, I am a fan and will be forever and ever, because what made me like them was the fact that they didn't tie themselves to the past (which is also great and I love it, especially the Fourth Dimension and Destiny phase) and managed to keep their essence intact. Ever since the song Paradise got released waaay back in the day, i realized Stratovarius was concerned about this world, then Elysium album cover was another cue they were trying to tell us something and when Feeding the Fire came, also became clear they were actually trying to reach us.
I feel this album is another wake up call if you will, but damn, such strong messages.
Not saying that's bad, but reality hits harder than sci-fi does and their songs hit like a damn semi truck.
GLobal warming isn't an immediate threat. We will exterminate ourselves before we see Global Warming.
Generic wake up call, doesn't point out the true menace to the world.

The 1st singer was the original drummer, then Timo Tolki sang for something like 10 years while pkaying guitar.

Para mi Stratovarius tiene 2 etapas:
La de Timmo Tolki (1986-2005)
La de Jens Johansson (2005- Actualidad)
Esta nueva etapa no ha sacado ni un mal album, Amo la voz de Timo Kotipelto y este disco es para mí la perfección de el sonido de Stratovarius (aunque en complejidad pierde contra Visions), es que no hay un mal tema en este album.
El motivo de que me guste mas esta segunda etapa, es por que su sonido suena moderno y se desprenden de lo medieval. Saludos desde:🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻

Es increible como stratovarius te hace transmitir perfectamente y sentir lo que quieren con sus canciones. Estas 2 ultimas canciones se puede sentir la emocion y el sentimiento con la melodia y los coros especialmente. Se nota una banda mas madura y expresiva, totalmente renovada y que no se queda en el pasado haciendo lo mismo. Se ve que han combinado perfectamente el estilo de nemesis y eternal, sonando nuevo pero a la vez con parte de su estilo melodico
Que han madurado si no se discute pero el estilo que tenían con tolkki iba a otro nivel incluso a veces muy adelantado a la actualidad siempre era un innovación musical. Ahora hacen un power metal como cualquier banda. Incluso el disco medievil y conquistador de olympos Mons se destaca por encima de estos dos de Stratovarius. Así lo siento yo. Me gusta más el viejo Strato había más sentimientos en las canciones más melodías mejores solos pero bueno
Hay momentos que recuerdan un poco a las canciones de los Threshold.
@@sebastianferreyra5257 Y pasaron años y la gente sigue con lo mismo? este Stratovarius es mas tecnico y un poco mas bajo que cuando estaba tolkki, sin mencionar que Kotipelto estaba joven mucho mas enérgico en sus agudos y su voz, no es lo mismo que antes pero no por eso es peor, solo es diferente, incluso en ocasiones hasta mejor por cortos momentos
Lo último que escuché de ellos fueron los "Elements" y es exactamente lo mismo.
No sé si sea bueno o malo, eso ya depende de cada quién, pero yo los escucho igual.
escuchar stratovarius ahora es lineal, DREAMSPACE, EPISODE, VISIONS, DESTINY y INFINITE son otro nivel degustables, y no planos

I'm fascinated that Timo Kotipelto is still the same age that he was in 2002. And so is the CGI - but that's the way it should be :) This is a great return, they sound better than they have in decades!

The same Ukraine, NATO needed a neutral territory in order to wage war with Russia and not receive a nuclear strike in response. Therefore, since 2013-2014, NATO countries have been building anti-Russia from Ukraine, arranging a coup d'état and an armed seizure of power there. And today it is sad that NATO will fight with Russia to the last Ukrainian. So yes, for what is happening in the world today, we should all thank NATO for it.

the problem with planet is not how humankind treats it and what we waste onto it it being destroyed by how we treat one another. there is no love in world anymore,there is no compassion. the world is not suffering to any climate change. every 1000 years world changes it axis. it will go from cooling cycle to hot cycle. problem is we are generation to witness this cycle change.
we feel something has changed it has it people bother research how earth behaves you might learn an thing or 2. instead we blame we each other for problems why its so hot etc. should you not be good steward of earth no that not what im trying say in end of things.
all things come to end. the planet is dying it needs to die. the change we want is not metaphysial its superanatural we deem it as metaphysical. earth is not our home it just where we live as were passing by onto the next life of true spiritual rebirth.
the earth is an test if we cant treat our species with kindess how are we destined to achieve heaven and peace and true love that never has fault never dies.
one does not simply get to these things by dieing wishing upon an star we as people need get along show love. anthem of world is love. and for all us to forgive like christ forgave us.
