Мартино Бениньи hai una simpatia innata, non sai quanto mi stai facendo ridere. Grazie veramente. Soprattutto in questi ultimi giorni che sono giù di morale, mi stai rallegrando come non mai 🤣🔝
I definitely identify with what you said about speaking in a relaxed manner. I used to study Greek at high school. And back then I had to think how to structure every sentence. But when I went to Greece, I began speaking in a much more relaxed and general manner, and despite making some occasional mistakes, I was able to communicate clearly.
OMG, you speak so fluent English! That's just perfect, it's a big pleasure to listen to it! My purposes are also to keep my brain working as long as I can and to study more languages :) I used to study German for 3 years at school but I totally forgot it, so yesterday I restarted to do it)) Have a nice day !
I think the reason is in your motivation, to say clearly - loss of motivation probably because of all these unhappy situation with failing happened. So you'd better take a break to relax your brain and emotional condition of your mind, also to rethink your aims and purposes of your life. After that also think about why did you choose this way of life - learning languages and if it corresponds to your life purposes so why don't you try one more time or even 2, 3 and more times? Learning the language is like starting a business - there's no straight line to success, so keep it in mind and keep on moving
God, you are adorable! Happy I found out your channel, Thinking about moving to the US soon, Wish me luck :) Its fun to learn languages, I believe it makes you even more comfortable meeting the natives and while visiting the country it is mostly spoken in. Looking forward to more videos, Keep smiling!
Grazie per questo. I am an American who is studying Italian. The main thing I got from this video is to decide what is my goal. I am not sure if I want to learn to become fluent/functional or to just speak a bit while on vacation. Where I live, there are many people from Mexico and Russia, so maybe I will learn enough Italian to speak while on holiday but become fluent in Spanish and Russian. I think practicing Spanish and Russian with native speakers would make all the difference, and unfortunately, I do not know any Italians who live in my area. Thanks again for this video. Bob

Even Greek and Latin, which is a dead language now. He's a Languages expert, who got his education at Oxford University in England.
And a few words about motivation. It's so personal that there's no sense to say something concrete. It can be whatever but it must be for sure. Without motivation learning process strives for zero. In the beginning of learning while you feel mad and full of motivation your goal number 1 is to do everything to keep that state as long as possible and make all your efforts to create a habit to study and an appropriate environment. Motivation is not a stable thing so you have to transform it into the habit and put in a supporting environment. You don't have a strong motivation to use daily your native language, do you? Everything else is secondary.
I would love to help you with English but I have to warn again I am not a native speaker :), I've never passed TOEFL :) and I am not going to do that soon or maybe at all :). So I think I can't be very useful for the preparation for TOEFL :). Learning foreign languages is my hobby :). If you interested in that kind of help then I'm ready :). I learn this language because I like it and that allows me to have a great opportunity to have a good job. Thank you to be here to help as to improve our english skills
In Italian we say ‘follower’ too, but without the S since in our grammar rule we form the plural in a different way, but with foreign words we just keep the singular form for both plural and singular. Btw the literal translation would be ‘seguace’
Hello Marina, once I learned Russian (for about 5 years), but when I went to Russia I got aware that German (my first language) is a 'slow' language while Russian is a 'fast' language. It was really frustrating because I thought I knew a pretty good amount of words. But I didn't understand anything. Even when I asked to slow down...
Ci ho messo parecchio per capire che era la stessa persona che appariva nei video, all'inizio pensavo fosse solo un amica xD ...io non parlo inglese, lo capisco poco se sento parlare qualcuno inglese...pero il tuo lo capisco bene perchè è scandito. Noi italiani abbiamo il problema opposto, quando parliamo inglese cerchiamo di scandire come quando usiamo l'italiano e per questo ci prendono in giro negli altri paesi XD
I can speak 3 languages : English , Arabic and German .
Now I’m learning French.
Good luck and motivation!

Not necessarily using "io" as in I in English so just say "ho" which automatically means I have.
Meta M Yes, that's the beauty of Latin Language. I'm Brazilian and it's the same with Portuguese. I have = "tenho". No need to say "eu tenho".

Hi Myra, I don't speak Spanish, but I do have some resources that may help you, as I have learned German and Italian independently. I am surprised you can't find Spanish classes near you, since everywhere I go there seems to be classes for Spanish and French, but not German or Italian! Double check with any local community college that may offer courses in adult education that includes languages, Spanish should definitely be offered!
Take advantage of resources from your local library: there should be books or even audiobook programs in Spanish. One audio program that I really admire is the Michel Thomas method, I would look into buying a used copy of the CD's. I find it much more effective than Pimsleur in that you are taught how to formulate sentences and use patterns in the language to your advantage, as opposed to simply parroting phrases. Get yourself a used copy of an elementary Spanish textbook and do exercises. There are some helpful websites such as conjuguemos.com which is essential for practicing verb conjugation. I also recommend the websites context.reverso.com, wordreference.com, verbix.com and wiktionary.com as online dictionaries/conjugation aids. Quizlet is my favorite app for making flash cards, and you can find other people's flashcard sets to use as well.
I would recommend using the app Memrise as a way to learn vocabulary and very basic phrases, but don't rely on it solely. Get written materials like magazines and underline words you don't recognize, then make flash cards from them. Use websites like interpals.net and conversationexchange.com and apps like HelloTalk to meet native Spanish speakers who will be happy to help you in exchange for your helping them learn English. Finally, start watching your favorite movies/TV shows dubbed in Spanish, until you get to the point of feeling comfortable watching without subtitles! I love to watch movies I love in English because I already know the dialogue without having to use subtitles. I also recently started reading the first Harry Potter book translated into Italian and I love learning vocabulary from reading.
Honestly I can say the hardest part is dedicating yourself in the self study, but also it is important to find balance. Practice all the different skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening. Do not just focus on one and not the others. Do not just focus on grammar - use it! Make friends with native speakers and you will learn fast! One of my biggest aids to learning Italian is having an Italian boyfriend, but don't think that's the only way to learn, it's just the most fun way ;) Sorry for the long message, but I hope that this helps!
Oh, and there should be a lot of great podcasts to listen to as well, like spanishpod101!

new subscriber here. Your videos are so educating, thanks for motivating me to learn languages seriously:))

You are so talented 🙂
Wow. Amazing. You're the best of the best. Trilingual and GMAT are enough for me.
