Hi Marina ! My name is Lorenzo, I am 16 and I'm an Italian boy. I would like to respond, very kindly, to something you said in the video. Taxis in big cities like Milan, Turin (in northern Italy) or Rome, Bologna (in central Italy) or Naples (in southern Italy) cost less, while in small cities or resorts, it costs more due to the fact that it is little used but also because in Italy in the cities/resorts the prices are raised. Having said that, I really enjoyed the video and congratulate you on the Italian. Below I leave you the translation of what I wrote above. Ciao Marina ! Bye bye, Lorenzo.
Beh oddio, costar meno nelle grandi città...
remember, you don't have to say "ciao ragazzi, come stai", because "ragazzi" is the plural form, but "stai" is the singular form. you must say "come state" 😉
I don’t usually comment, but Marina has the cutest relationship with her husband. They have really touched my soul, they look like teenagers who are insanely in love, but I am glad to see how mature they are even though they act so ordinary. Btw the thing that they don’t forget about their origin really inspires me. Whenever someone asked where they’re from the respond was Russia and not the US. Wish you both good luck in your personal life as well as in your job❤️
Marina as always very spontaneous! This videos was the best ever, I am a Brazilian-Italian citizen and do not master the Italian language, but on my trips to Europe or Italy in particular I did the same asking for the meaning of dishes/deserts/foods/ and etc... Congrats to the couple!

Hi! I am Margherita and I’m from Treviso a little city near Venice, I really love when a person from an another country try to speak Italian without be worried to don’t be understand, I think it’s lovely Sorry for my English 😁
Hey Marina. If you say “Ciao ragazzi” (which is “Hey guys”) then you should say “Come state?” (“How are you doing?”), which is conjugated according to the plural of “ragazzi”. “Come stai” is used for one person only.
Hi, Marina!!! I'm really impressed! Now I exactly know, you are my best motivator to study English!!! Thank's a lot! How it's cool to realize that you understand a foreign language! It's a real "Linguatrip"!!! 👍👍👍
You guys were so lucky to have stayed that long in Italy. I was there 5 times, but it was usually for a day or two, except one time when I stayed at my lady friend's place (who was studying Italian at the time) for 6 days in Trieste. Italy is such a beautiful place and the people are usually so elegant. They really know how to enjoy life, as you, obviously, do, too. You should also come to Belgrade, Serbia one day and we would teach you some Serbian. You would be pleasantly surprised at how nice and friendly this place can be for tourists.
What a nice vacation; congrats! I am still working on my 50 Russian words and phrases from one of your previous videos. This actually came in handy when watching a tour of the International Space Station by an American Astronaut when She was speaking to Russian fellow crew members, and I actually understood 👍. Thanks for your help. My favorite Italian phrase (and the only one I know😉) is "Il dulce far niente" which I can embrace. 😊
hope u have a lot of video when u go travel. Because listen english will little boring, but study english by travel or u go out for a trip make me watch it whole day, never bored.
Marina, please, make more videos teaching Italian, you helped me learn English and now I'm trying to learn Italian and I hope you will teach me this either. Love you. Btw hello from Armenia.
Tips for italian bars, try going to the smaller ones and act like you know what the prices are supposed to be, tourists are often tricked into spending lots of money, sometimes even expresso coffee (1€/1.50€) costs 6€
I really enjoyed watching this video! I will be traveling to Italy soon! Thank you very much for this Marina! I hope that you can come to Peru someday! My Country!
Buongiorno Marina! Nice vlog!I've seen your vlog about the same trip in Russian and for me this vlog is more interesting. In English vlogs your give more useful tips and content more structured. Nevertheless, I'm proud of you, you are so young and successful, your my inspiration to move forward and I wish you all the best! Looking forward to watch your new vlog! XO from rainy and cold Saint Petersburg:)
Well, i don't know why the guy at the restaurant tells you "sbriciolare", but that means "to crumb", you can use it in different contexts: if you make a cheesecake you have to "sbriciolare i biscotti", to crumb biscuits; but in a demolition you say that "l'edificio si è sbriciolato al suolo", or if something fall on the ground and is broken in a lot of pieces. I've never heard it to say you are cleaning from briciole :/
Europe on the whole is super expensive. Just paid 15 euro for a 5 minute ride in Ireland. Buses also charge an insane amount of money. Hotels or BnBs are also super expensive. UK is not so much but euro everywhere its like that. Great video BTW
Italian is a nice language. I like. Now I'm using duolingo to study Italian. I study a little bit every single day cause I'm focus on english. I'm been studying Italian for 1 moth. Now I know over 1 hundred Italian words. And a few verbs. For example. Io magio la crema al cioccolato. (I eat chocolate cream)
Sbaglia scrive "io magio", "mangio". Verb : mangiare. Wish u are more better for learn and greets from Italy. Buona giornate a lei..

Marina, did you say at the end of your video you are going to move to Italy in a year or come back for another visit? I have read living in Italy can be very affordable. It is a place me and my fiance have considered moving.
