I like how nice the people cooking the food were! I don’t know why but it was so cute to see the elder man smile and bow to you😅 and the elder lady who stirred your food and she smiled at the camera to show the food that was so sweet to me😅
I don't know why people go to those places...there are not cheap the food is greasy and with some questionable cleanest. In other videos you get a much better buffet for 5 or 10 bucks. I avoid those market food. There are just nostalgia and tourist traps.
Thanks for the honest reviews. It helps a lot when a local gives their opinion on the food. Often you’ll see youtubers eating certain kind of food and saying it’s super delicious. Most of the time these are Westerners eating Asian food they’re not familiar with, so I’m always skeptical about that.
I accidentally saw your video and it piqued my interest, so I started binge watching your videos and subscribed. And while I'm scrolling through your channel, you have an upcoming LIVE STREAMING today on October 6 at 8pm and the title says it's your birthday. But today is my birthday as well. Hahah, what a surprise. "Happy Birthday to both of us." I hope you can visit here in the Philippines and do a vlog. Filipinos love watching foreigners vlog.
Ahh Kim Bob. When I used to teach English to Korean students in Coquitlam, Canada there was a small sushi place nearby run by a Korean guy. I preferred Kim Bob but was the only Caucasian Canadian customer that always ate it vs. Sushi. The owner was so happy, every time I would order he would say "You like Kim Bob?" I would say. "I love Kim Bob". Then he had the biggest smile, every time he said that because he enjoyed how someone preferred Korean style "sushi" rolls.
Love the new video Jimmy! It was extremely entertaining and all the food stall ajummas look so kind and hardworking. The food looks absolutely delicious! The last lady will always be my favourite, she’s so cute haha.
I love street food/food trucks culture. I don't know how they do it, but it's mystical on how amazing food can come out from such as small space! Great video as always!
Great content! And thanks for keeping it real. As an American who has traveled a lot (I've been to Korea twice) I hate when English speakers expect everyone to accommodate their limited language ability. So embarrassing. Keep up the great work! 👍
I remember watching your valorant videos, but then you started this channel. I was mad, because you stopped making valorant videos, but instead of making funny videos. Your making the perfect videos after s long day of school, so keep it up!
thank you for this vid jimmy. i really enjoyed it! the interactions, background music, and overall quality of production really was very good! good job on this video jimmy. hopefully can get to more vids like this in the future. you are doing great sir and hopefully you keep on making high quality content like this! all the best and keep it up!
I’ve been looking for someone other than the usual popular UA-camrs and man the sarcasm jokes and food and I randomly found this channel such a shame this channel should be way more popular
I'm loving the videos, thumbnails are great, entertaining, good titles. If you keep this up I'm sure your channel will continue popping off more than it already has :-) Love it! Keep up the good work 👏
sup uncle Jimmy. I don't normally comment on videos but I just want to say I look forward to your videos every week. This new content you've been creating is really awesome and enjoyable.
lived in korea when i was younger. now im in America. really miss having good Korean food. definitely gonna have a lot of it when i visit during school vacations. great video
I do agree Gwangjang tends to be overhyped and honestly that is okay as I think it tends to be many people who are not from Korea their first major experience in Korean "street" food. I love Korea and I can honestly say that Seomun Market in Daegu tends to be overlooked because..well...its Daegu but you can find fantastic food here. Daegu does have a second market called Chilseong but I think its more geared towards bulk food buying but some fantastic small stops for quick bites. Dongmun in Jeju is probably the most difficult for me to rate because I don't think you can get real authentic Jeju black pork there. You need to go to Seongwipo to get that, but that's just my opinion!
It is overhyped but it’s worth visiting due to the authenticity and majority of ajummas there has been doing it for more than 20 plus yrs. a bit pricey but it’s reasonable for the tourist pocket.
I left south Korea when I was a baby.. went back at the age of 5.. have some memories, but have not been back since.. but I still to this day eat as much Korean food and cook Korean food and have passed on my Korean history to my kids.
The place I always go to if I visit Seoul is, the best place to introduce Korean snacks and street food in 1 place. Kalguksoo is always my go-to on cold days. It's basic but it has a soul.
I love this market so much. There used to be a day tour to this place before the pandemic. Your video quality and color are so on point. May I ask what is the camera setting you used for this one?

That was the best part of the tour!
I don't know why people go to those places...there are not cheap the food is greasy and with some questionable cleanest. In other videos you get a much better buffet for 5 or 10 bucks. I avoid those market food. There are just nostalgia and tourist traps.

Yes! I'm not trying to hype up anything... honest reviews mean much more

The place I always go to if I visit Seoul is, the best place to introduce Korean snacks and street food in 1 place. Kalguksoo is always my go-to on cold days. It's basic but it has a soul.
