I just completed U.S. army combat medic training, and they've been stressing to us about being able keep up our skills and knowledge on our own now that we're being sent out on our own to our units. Being that PFC is so new they only touched on what they could of it which wasn't much so this these videos are proving to be really helpful
They just teach us enough to keep someone alive long enough for medevac. Basically over glorified EMT without the legal ramifications of sticking someone with an IV. E 232 2007
A CO2 detector is a small lightweight addition that provides the best indication of ventilation, the confidence that you aren’t goosed or false tracked is invaluable.
awesome series!!! could you do a Video about Trauma care but with like improvised TQ and and all that. Or a video about medicine tips and first aid hacks
Awesome content! I would love to hear about using NODs in a tactical field care situation, tips and tricks and what to keep in mind while assesing patients under night vision/low light
From a SAR medic perspective....throw some Chux pads or puppy pads stored inside a gallon ziploc bag into that hygiene kit. Arguing whose pack the patient’s waste is going to go in can turn south really quickly if the rest of the team gangs up on you ;)
I'm looking forward to some form of quick 'stabilization' wounds like heavy bleeding, bone fractures, gashing wounds and gunshot wounds. What you've shown here is a super power of higgest level and I think that even some quick response ambulances are not able to act about and take car of a patient like you could there and now. Great work.
Really interesting video! Please, can you explain how you practically sterilize or at least high level disinfect the surgical instruments only using a fire? That would be really great!
I saved this for my teams flight medic. She likes to save videos for me to review. Thought turn about is fair. Shes medically ret. From army. Served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our team has great faith in her and she can shoot also. Teams need to remember to keep your members up to date. They cant see it all. JMHO
Lol. When he said the army didn't give it to me so the local hospital might be missing something had me laughing. Medics always sticky fingers when it comes to medical supplies and equipment and people always look the other way. They know the struggle, lol.
"The army didn't give this to me but a local hospital is missing something". When I first went to boot camp many, many years ago the dental techs gave a lecture on oral hygiene. The first thing they said was germs in your mouth do not cause bad breath. Bad breath was caused by the germs leaving teeny tiny turds in your mouth. Must be something about being in the military medical field that imparts comedic irony. I enjoyed all of the medical videos as much for the information that I don't have the skill to use and Luka's delivery.
Hej luka, outstanding Videos you made with your skills and your kind and ufpro Go on With this! How can i get an insight in the ranger life saver book?
Could not find the left book, it is called "ranger life saver level 1" the only reference i could find is this website which i suppose belongs to them, featuring the Tracking series guy courses.leadranger.org/ranger-lifesaver/#/
If there's anything you didn't emphasize enough it's "check your ego at the door". Having the best or worst equipment matters less than learning how and when to use it- or to seek help- otherwise you can kill your patient.
as RNs no longer perform continuous exams, basic hygiene, you know old school nursing you forgot the tech to do those basic patient care comfort stuff. RNs are to good for that skill.
"Saline is for pasta" would make for a great velcro-patch!
Gonna make it lol
Amazed at how up to date this channels info is. PFC is the future for combat medics and the info here is great. Well done.
Luka my friend, well done!
I would like also to say thank you to everyone involved on that series!
Well done boys and girls!
Thanks, brother!
"Call someone who´s smarter than me." That´s a good plan B if i have every seen one.

This series ruled. Hope to have more from Luka.
I love the scenery that they choose to do these in
i am a 5th year general medicine student and this is really really interesting, loved it, thank you for the efforts
Great series, 90% of that kit is beyond my basic first aid capabilities, but nice to know what a combat medic carries around with them.
A CO2 detector is a small lightweight addition that provides the best indication of ventilation, the confidence that you aren’t goosed or false tracked is invaluable.
Really good series combat medicine has moved on massively really informative
I originally missed the fact this video was for prolonged care in the field. With that in mind, this is a great video. Awesome job guys.
Top notch instruction, thank you all the way from Canada. I appreciate you taking the time to do this, its very informative.
Yeah Luka. Very very well done. Very clear & concise. Professional & very informative.
awesome series!!! could you do a Video about Trauma care but with like improvised TQ and and all that. Or a video about medicine tips and first aid hacks

That's an interesting question. 🤔

Bloody brilliant series folks. 10/10.
Lol a local hospital is missing something 😉. Now that's resourcefulness

Which country's armed forces has such a level of combat medics?
Another great video by my friends at UF PRO..
Absolutely amazing presentation. Well done!!
Really interesting video! Please, can you explain how you practically sterilize or at least high level disinfect the surgical instruments only using a fire? That would be really great!
Great video as always! Love the knowledge mixed in with some humor. Greetings from a swiss army doc.
If all field trainings were *that* entertaining, we had way less security briefings.... *Just awesome as always!!!*
Hope to bring more in the future. 💪🏼
I like that USSOCOM field manual that you held up ;)
Really good stuff you guys are grinding out. Keep it up
Would really love to know the two part pack you are using. Awesome set up. Great video series. Lukas and his comments are great

Foley catheter......trust me, it’s in. 😂😂
What books are those PLEASE?! Everyone wants to know and have the power you speak of!
What bag is that? Also what are the medical hand books?
What does the surgical equipment consist of, and what procedures are most important to know how to do?
I'd be interested in reading those books he had. Can anyone hook it up with the links?
Lol. When he said the army didn't give it to me so the local hospital might be missing something had me laughing. Medics always sticky fingers when it comes to medical supplies and equipment and people always look the other way. They know the struggle, lol.

I am missing a suction unit in your kit. Do you carry one or how are you dealing with it?
Dude, are you a real doctor? Because that is cool AF
Every unit needs a capable medic like him lol
What watch have you got and why?
What brand of bag is that?
Does somebody know the name of the song at the begining and at the end of video?
What reading material would you say for someone who is EMT
Nice video! What kind of drug case is that? :)
What’s the bag used in this video
Interesting.
Peccato non si possa acquistare lo zaino completo

Its A Tasmanian Tiger Bag, UF Pro uses a lot of there gear in these videos.
Luka, Other than admitting to a crime on camera, that is an amazing setup. where on your belt do you wear it? :)
I need to carry this wounded guy with me?
Kutija od Bajadere koji si ti car 🤣🤘. Zivio 🍻

Luka is awesome, but let's not forget his "patient" who had to lie there for 8 minutes
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So... Basicly you carry an whole ambulance to battle?
as RNs no longer perform continuous exams, basic hygiene, you know old school nursing you forgot the tech to do those basic patient care comfort stuff. RNs are to good for that skill.
"Everybody lies".......sounds like House
Local hospital is missing something pp🤫
