WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE FILM??
Just awesome ❤️🔥

Pure awesomeness. Best of SSR

Unexpected dance man..you both killed it❣️🤩

@Prience Agrahari don't encourage piracy
They sure did nail it
The bike used in RRR is known as Velocette Bikes .Velocette Bikes, also known as featherweight motorcycles, were created with troops mobility in mind. The engines were simple two-stroke engines that could be carried simply on one’s shoulders to cross streams.
Thanks for the information
Pretty typical as Indians always trying to justify, why can't we just love the way we are?😂😎
Why you explaining?
Even though if it's a bullet?
I don't care I like the over the top action..... Who care it is realistic or not?
I like the climax scene..... Better than any hollywood movies
Thats not vellocette bike dude. That is an army bike which weights less. NTR WOULDN'T LIFT VELLOCETTE BIKE
John Abraham also lifted the bike so I guess bheem is muh stronger than John in movie
"Their superpower comes from the fact that they are Indian." 😂
Couldn't say it in a better way.
Agreed! So well said! ❤️
Hehe.
Because there is emotional connection 😊☺️🙏❤️

Haha true
19:55 Hey Rick, you’re absolutely true on how Indians feel seeing the heroes getting glorified. You show the empathy. Thank you 😊

@@ronitdas1050 😆
Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR:
1) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍
2) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
3) The sets u can see in nacho nacho song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine....
4) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
5) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian abd north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
6) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
7) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
8) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect....
9) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything....
10) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there r mythological references to the movie for sure but its not just sree ram's avatar, its actually the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear...
11) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies,
a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....

Alison Doody was the lead love interest in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. She was the Bond girl in Roger Moore's last Bond film - A View to a Kill. I did not know she was in this film.
@SSR I know him as Thor's friend who died in Ragnarok. Volstagg! I haven't seen any Punisher movie 😂.
@SSR exactly. I love ray stephenson version of punisher. Also the 2004 version. He also played the character firefly in gi joe movie.

SS Rajamouli is simply the best storyteller in India. Very brilliant screenplay with two big heroes. Lovely score, superb cinematography. Superb experience!!!
Best after Rajkumad Hirani
Sanjay leela bhansali too, all these are better than steven speilberg too
@@tommyshelby6161 yeah he’s a legend but ngl our cinematography is light years ahead and like 10 times less the price, because the Indian industry has passion towards art, it’s not all commercial,:)
@@arnavsheelvant2319 what are you saying bro, Spilberg is the King of Storytelling, the way he uses Cinematography, Art direction, Music, Visual effects one can match tha. And Spilberg is the most versatile Director of all time in Cinema history. @@hozoborol8670 Lol, SSR has surpassed Hirani. Since this beats PK hands down. And Sanjay is just good in 1 or 2 movies. SSR nearly nails it in every movie
And am not even a Telugu guy. Am from TN.
The reason why you didn't like bahubali and you liked this is just that you became more familiar and tolerant towards Indian cinema now. It takes watching 10-20 mediocre to bad films to truly understand and acknowledge one better film. Imagine if Godfather was released in pre-code era. It would have been a flop. People got used to that pacing and scene building after they had watched some good westerns and many bad westerns (I know Godfather is not a western but the pacing of that movie is so similar to that of cool hand luke and good bad and the ugly movies). Familiarity plays a large role in enjoying any art form, which is why Vincent van Gogh died broke.
Also the main reason is that they watched Bahubali on laptop lol..
Very sensible analysis 👏
Truth has been spoken. Amen to that!
Regarding RRR, some movies are made for the movie halls. Among such movies this is the greatest Indian movie made untill now. Easily, very easily. Sheer epic, sheer glorious.
I agree
Baahubali 1 and 2 wasn’t that great though. The scale and engagement was there but over the top story, action, bad CGI and rerecording quality sucked so much for a movie of that scale. As always, there’s no realism in the fight scenes. Now before you go on with “it’s fantasy” comment, let me make a point here. MCU does have fantasy, infact many fantasy and superhero movies does but they do it with believeability factor.
@22:32 Talking about me ! 😀

Rick and Korbin, what you have finally experienced is what billions of Indians have experienced over decades when they went to single screen theaters to watch Big B, Rajni, Mamooty, NTR and Chiranjeevi movies. It is this exact feeling of celebrating cinematic moments in packed theaters that makes people rewatch movies several times. This is the magic of movies that binds a villager and an urbanite as they cheer for the same stars! Welcome to the electricity of Indian movie theaters!

The depiction of ram charan's character is alluri seetharamaraju ji, a tribal leader and a freedom fighter who fought the British and gave his life for the country. And Jr.NTR' s character is based on komaram bheem.
" alluri seetharamaraju ji" could fly and heal from stab wounds automatically?

Fun fact, alluri sitaramaraju actually wore the ram costume during battles with the British.
When Mangal Pandey the rising starring Aamir khan released, the producer Bobby Bedi said we can never make movie like hollywood action movies like James Bond. I wanna see where he is now. This movie definitely gonna bring a new era to cinema in India.
Long back in Kannada there were 4 spy films made, between 1966 and 1978. All had agent 999 as the main lead played by Dr Rajkumar who was father of recently passed away superstar Puneeth Rajkumar. All were blockbusters.Dr Raj was fantastic as a spy and perhaps even better than some of the Bond actors. His last spy film was Operation Diamond Racket. Amara Ujala the Hindi newspaper had referred to Dr Raj few years back as the James Bond of India. It was inspired by Dr Raj's spy movies that similar attempts were made in other indian languages at Bond styled movies. The only successful frainchaise of Bond styled movies in India how ever is of Dr Raj.

Yes brother they are fan of different actors that's why they didn't want the film to succeed so they are copy pasting the same comment everywhere
@@Maneesh1301 no way. I am from west godavari. You know about west and east godavari right. Majority of the people are die hard prabhas fans here because of same caste plus it is the home town for Prabhas. But East and West Godavari has bought theatrecial rights more than anyother district of telugu states. They have spent so much money because there is no negativity in people and they are ready to enjoy it.
The most basic thing I ask for from a movie is to play by the rules it establishes. A movie creates a world, lets you know what the rules are. It almost doesn't matter what then happens in that world as long as it's playing by it's own rules. The whole thing goes off the rails when they start breaking their own ground rules. RRR is fantastic and it never breaks its own rules. Phenomenal.

OMG ...those are not easy steps...kudos to you guys 👏
One of the best cinematic experiences I ever have had. VFX is never been this good in big-budget Indian films and has amazing scores (Especially, Rama raju's version).
I felt the climax was rushed and it was all due to the imagination of bheem carrying ram. Bheem had to carry him, so, they should break his legs. He had to heal fast because that counterattack had to happen immediately. That single scene tied their hands back and couldn't stop the audience from thinking about it.
I pity the people who waited to watch this spectacle in ott. Absolutely made for theatre!!
You reminded me of what Buzz Luhrman had said about being in Indian theatres. He was amazed and pleasantly surprised how Indian audiences are alive inside the theatre.
I just booked tickets after watching your non-spoiler review part. Thanks for this.
I felt you could have elaborated the conception of Bridge scene a bit more...it had so many elements embedded in it...both of them were at that point in time where they were completely clueless of how to move forward with their respective missions...Then destiny bridged the water and fire elements they represented beautifully...they had the flag with them representing the common cause of nationalism they stood for, and the union happened through one of the simple but noblest deeds of rescuing a child caught between water and fire.....meanwhile preps for the celebration were already going on in the backdrop which turned out to be the celebration of their coming together (the red dressed people making a formation to break the pot hung up)....
These were heights of detailing to make that confluence sweetest and at the same time mammoth....
Imagination of Rajamouli Garu was evident in almost all scenes..
❤
Wow! I never thought it this way. Thank you for your insight.

Me my family and my neighbours, we all went to see a movie in theater, and 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😁😁😁, we kept talking about the movie for 1-2 hours 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The love interest of Bheem(Jr NTR) is Olivia Morris......not Alison Doody. Alison Doody was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Watched the first one minute of this review and I don't want to know anything anymore. Glad you guys loved it. Going to watch it ASAP. 😀
The intro 🔥
Yes Korbi Its Lord Ram The God With Bow & Aarow !
Love the bloopers at the end. Never thought it would be Rick to screw up considering he did tap.
Intro is fantastic😍🔥🔥

Why abuse him though?
@@praveentiwary7928 🤷
@@praveentiwary7928 abuse ?
@@Nishanth_mementomori Gaaru kyu bol raha hai?
@@praveentiwary7928 gaaru matlab Rajmouli ji hota hai 😂
The girl you were talking about in the end is Olivia Morris not Alison Doody
Great review! 24:57 Bheem's love interest wasn't played by Alison doody; her name is Olivia Morris. Alison doody played the main bad guy's wife.
Every frame of the film was🔥🔥🔥😍
Telugu movie are always fun to watch in theatres
Killed those dance moves man, that dance was unexpected and awesome just like SS Rajamouli's movies. Loved your passion and excitement for this movie. Cheers.
Loved your review as usual like I always do. ....extra points for the dance
