Here’s for PS5 players that are having a tough time getting the zen to work. First thing to do is to turn off your Bluetooth for the PlayStation. After that turn the PlayStation on manually. Plug the zen into the back usb port. Plug a ps4 controller into the left usb port on the zen then plug your ps5 controller into the bottom port of the zen. This is a wired setup so you’ll have to play connected through wire. I haven’t had the zen disconnect from me once and works perfectly

Idk what it is about Macs, but I was having trouble with the USB C port and the adapter connections. But it works like a charm on a regular windows laptop with regular USB ports.
*update* I also found it if you have a Mac get a USB powered hub, preferably Anker brand. They work as well. Hope all this helps someone!

Every one has very different PC rigs and then where they want to use the zen. Also, where someone bought it from. It’s a bit more complicated than I would have preferred (not user friendly) but it’s getting better.
Where are you getting stuck?

if u got ur zen updated and u plug it in to ur console it plut ur wire that it came with with 2 big notchs on each side then u plug it in to th e input on the side of the zen u should be able to swich and turn ur zen recoil up or down

So do you unplug the other 2 usb plugs you plugged in at the start of the video to download the scripts and when you get ready to use it you unplug the 2 long usb ports and just plug in your controller and plug in the short usb cable into the pc

I do all this setup the rust game pack then i connect it to my xbox and get a constant red light and it doesnt work at all , any advice would be great cause its driving me crazy

i dont believe fortnight is offered in their game packs. But you can use doom eternal or mods for beginners as a work around. I show the doom eternal game pack set up in my most recent video
I have the firmware updated, however, my device is not connecting. I have Xbox One X. Any suggestions?
Sorry but I updated it and I don't know about it so how do I get the toogle ADS/aim (like just press aim trigger it'll stay aiming until I press it again instead of holding it down
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ... DO A TUTORIAL FOR R6 : BEAM game pack. I have been trying for months. The anti recoil does not work for me and makes my aim basically inverted. Thank you
does your zen and your in game settings match up?
Yes I do. All my settings match. I also had no problem with the beam pack before they updated the anti recoil for both the X AND Y axis. It worked very well. Now whenever I am adjusting my aim while shooting it makes me aim directly left and I can't adjust my aim at all.
I’ll check the beam pack out when I can. But this sounds like horizontal and vertical anti recoil are getting mixed up

I added the call of duty beams game pack onto the Cronus and it shows that it’s installed, I have a question as to if I need to actually get into the Cronus options and manually enable any of the options or is it automatically enabled and I just need to make sure the correct Script is on? Sorry just got my Cronus and I ask because I haven’t really noticed a difference
I’m going to play around with that one this weekend and figure a few things out

When I put the script on my zen I cant switch what gun I want and its not giving me 0 recoil on my guns, for example I put on weeping revenge a rust script on my zen and load up rust, I get in rust and try and see my 0 recoil but I dont get the 0 recoil, I also cant change my gun or sight

Fortnight isn’t in the game packs section and I’m honestly not sure why. Maybe try using doom eternal or mods for beginners instead?

I did everything you said and when i connect my ps4 controller through bluetooth it connects to the zen and not my ps4
I'm using a Cronus zen and Dualsense edge 5 controller. After like 5 mins of gameplay, the controller freezes on the last action I was taking (for example if I'm sprinting, my character will continue to sprint) and the only way to fix it is to unplug the Cronus and plug it back in. Any ideas?
Or I just have some random disconnections once every couple of hours
Within zen studio, there is a tab called “device” where you adjust the “emulator output protocol” to PS5 controller. Make sure to save your settings. See if that helps. Video will be out today about this and other fixes

I’ve got a huge problem so I tried connecting my Keyboard and mouse into my Cronus Zen and it stopped working for my controller and only works for keyboard and the light turns of when I do so
Mine is just stuck at “please select your device to continue” even after I pressed the button on the back

Hold it till bootloader comes up then open the cmupdatetool should register have both top and side plugged in
If you use this and the other guys doesn’t how does this make you better than him at the game?
I guess it would depends on how you qualify skill in the gaming world. Does a higher k/d mean you are better at winning matches? Would better tech (GPU that runs faster/better frame rates or monitor with higher refresh rates) make you better? I think the only way to know for sure would be for you and the other guy to have equate equipment, equal online connection (maybe a Lan party?) and play on the same character.

If have the top small cord plugged into my Xbox does the cord on the right side need to stay plugged even after game pack is installed well. Like when I’m playing?
the right side doesnt need to be plugged in while playing (that specific cable is just to set up game pack or scripts within zen studios) but the top cable does need to plug into console (or PC if you play on PC)

Yes, but I believe you still have to set up the ballistic curve in zen studio. Although, it’s improved a lot over the years since I last tried MnK so maybe it’s plug and play now?

Set up on PC but can play without being plugged in to a PC afterwards.

Interested in the Apex scripts and how the actual Zen works. What functions do you have to calibrate on the zen itself when playing Apex and trying to get zero recoil
scripts are usually specific to the weapon being used. game packs are set up in a similar way and can be changed and adjusted in game quickly

Use both plugs at the same time or switch to different usb cables

I would suggest still having access to one. If there is an error code or you want other things added to it, then a PC would be very helpful

How do I use it on Nintendo switch
I only have a MacBook Pro laptop with different ports, it their extra cables in the box with zen for Mac , could it be set up using Bluetooth??
can not be set up using bluetooth but it can be set up using a macbook.

I believe (could be wrong due to interpretation) that you would have to plug into one port at a time

no. Plug in the 12 inch cable (located on the top of zen), into console or PC, then you plug your controller into the button or left side port, and then play

you have to use a windows 10 or 11 emulator, such as boot camp or parallels, to get zen studio downloaded on your macbook.
Does the Cronus zen extended already come with the downloaded set up already on it
Yes, you can ask for that option. But I think it’s better to learn how to do a lot of the set up on your own. Once you understand the basics, it’s fairly easy to use and adjust
I’m on pc and I for the life of me can not get the chronus to work for me I don’t understand how to use this thing at all
Ive followed your video, when i load up the zen studio my device is recognised but needs updating, i follow the video all the way to the 2nd time you press the button at the bottom of the device, but when i get to that point my device is not found (unlike in your video) i can provide my serial number and a screenshot ofnthe device being recognised before I attempt to update it. Unsure whats happening but it seems as soon as i hit the bootloader button the device dissappears and doesnt come back.

I think it’s a step I missed for a new user to register their device.
My device is registered. never really even used it tbf but I finally found a use for it. But it looks as though I can't update it.
@johnpartland2495 might need a hard reset. Hold both blue buttons down and wait for everything to reset. Go through steps again from beginning. See if that works
Yeah uts been hard reset, the lights came on, I get the screen I should get, it just seems nothing I do gets the device recognised again after hitting the bootloader button, yet everytime its turned on into the zen app it identifies the zen and tells me that it's incompatible and needs the firmware updating and as soon as I follow the steps to update the firmware the device can't be found. Is there anyway to update the firmware.on the zen site itself as opposed to using the zen app?
Hey I have console(ps5) connection issue. I have a ps4 connected to the side and when I try connecting my ps5 controller via Bluetooth method it keeps saying controller disconnected. I was wondering if you know a fix or have any help at all?
There is a LOT of issues with the newest/current firmware… I almost assume that you started running into trouble after upgrading your zen…?
Besides that I know that one thing they are saying that is important for PS players, is to go in to your console settings and disconnect/disable Bluetooth before your initial connect to the Zen, otherwise it will end up bypassing your Zen all together and connect directly to your console…

I’ve deleted the Bluetooth controllers and also put wired only nothing works. It freezes mid game and says use controller you used to start the game. Why won’t they fix this? Is there a way to go back to the previous version?

I’m not sure that it would work on rust specifically, but it still works for most games on Xbox (any Xbox)

for games like siege, i always see people selling scripts, but does the zen app provide free basic scripts?
yes. there are a lot of free scripts. You can buy scripts if you want to, but i would make sure you trust who you get them from. My guy in discord used to work for cronus and now works with me.

We have a script for nba2k24 that was created by Jedi in our discord. I dont actually play that game though. We have had positive feedback so far.
My only issue as of now is that it won’t let me install on my laptop & i have a windows laptop. All updated & what not. I been changing my sett cause it says its not a microsoft verified app so idk what to do? If you can help please lmk.
