    Ive got the same neck guard. I was being stubborn and holding off on getting one but I am glad I did. I took a HARD collar bone shot last night and felt it a little bit but not nearly as much as I would have without it. Great stuff Jordan!

    Great video Jordan! I always enjoy checking out what other goalies use for their setup. I plan on doing a what's in the bag video too. Just waiting to get a new bag though. My grit sumo bag is falling apart. I mainly use Warrior and Reebok gear.
    I'd love to see some tip videos. Whenever I watch your gameplay videos, I always try to learn something about the way you play certain situations and then I try to incorporate that in my game. Cheers!

      Hey thanks for all the support man it’s awesome! Haha so I totally hear ya on the bag I have an old eagle bag that’s really beaten up and didn’t make the cut in my video 😂. I really like your warrior setup in your videos it’s nice! Also love your new icon picture so clean man!
      Sweet thanks for the feedback man! I have some pretty good ideas on how I want to execute the videos. Glad I can provide some help for ya!

    Thanks for sharing Jordan! I like to see what other goalies wear so thanks. I have eflex 3 pads, glove and blocker, I got them for 54% off from a local goalie store, I thought it was a steal. CCM GFL pro helmet, Vaughn velocity pro V pants, warrior g4 chest, Bauer s27 skates, Bauer jock, CCM pro knee guards, CCM e4 stick and Reebok neck protector. I don’t like the dangler either.
    I think doing on ice how to videos will be a great thing for the goalie community. Have a great week. Thanks

    Im rocking the ccm extreme flex 860 goal pads. Im thinking bout upgrading to the Eflex line of pads
    but there doesn't seem to be a lot of differences between them.

    Holy Cats! This video was awesome. Lots of cool gear. I've been looking at those skates (been in my cart for a month) - do you think they'd help me slide better once I'm down? I'd love to see tips on recovery slides. You are great at changing direction after the first save, to get in place for the second save.

      @TurboTendy  5 років тому

      Haha the cats really wanted to be in the video. Thanks Morgan! I find for myself atleast it’s helped once in the butterfly get a better angle for pushing. Thanks for the feed back and suggestions! Will have the ice rented fairly soon for a bunch of videos!

    Nice gear man. I use Warrior g3 senior 32+1.5 pads, Warrior g4 senior catcher, Warrior g3 pro blocker, Warrior g4 senior chesty, CCM E flex pro pants, Old school Itech pro mask (which I’m looking to upgrade soon), Tour skates, and a 27” Montreal composite stick. I play roller hockey, I would prefer to play ice but due to where I live and their schedules it doesn’t work for me. I do plan on making videos of me playing, I just have one GoPro for now. Great video I love seeing what other goalies are rocking for gear. See you on the next video.

      Haha well when your coming from Vaughn V4s from 2011 when I played Jr it was a big upgrade. Not saying there the lightest pad on the market for sure but still a pretty light weight pad imo.

    Hey Jordan. I like your Videos. I love how your gloves look like . The v7 are Very nice gloves!
    Im just in a Bauer 1x chest, vaughn pro return Pants (de smith, Pittsburgh), brians Genetik 2 pro knee guards, mask with Chicago Design but there is no Label of a brand. Brians Optik2 custom Pads(34+2,which is huge in tigh rise ...) and gloves. Ccm Skates.
    I Think some new pads like eflex4 oder some other will Help you to get even faster on the ice. And your moves are Great with eflex2 pads...

    @TurboTendy I used to have 5 sets (Warrior G1, G2 (Tim Thomas Returns), G3 (2 sets) and G4. Sold them all and now rocking a Bauer 1x set and purchasing a 2x set soon. Love my 8-9 masks with awesome wraps or paint jobs. I just wanted to stop by and say you are playing extremely well and I love these videos! One question I have is - how do you connect your wireless mic - is it in your mask? I would love to learn how to set up a mic and start recording atleast my pick up games where I dont switch sides for 1-2 hours. Thanks!

    I just started playing goalie in pick up games and I havent seen the need to wear those knee pad/thigh pad things. What is the best argument to wearing them?

    • @TurboTendy
      @TurboTendy  5 років тому +1

      Hey! So the ccm pads I have do not have a thigh board protector and I use them to substitute that and for a more comfortable landing when dropping to the butterfly. In the league I play in there’s lots of high level players that can really rip the puck. Been hit in that area a few times years back and it’s very painful. These and lots of other knee pads provide great protection against those shots. Highly recommend some protection there at any level though. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    • @tendergoaltender
      @tendergoaltender 5 років тому +2

      @@TurboTendy Thanks for the detailed answer. My leg pads do have a thigh board but it sounds like maybe it is still worth it. Keep making the videos, as a new goalie I love watching them.
