Brazilian Rainbow Boa care. Temperature and Humidity are the two most important factors for rainbow boas. Please feel free to holler with any questions.
Spot on. IMO one of the most stunning constrictors just in their normal color phase on earth. I use reptichip and spagnum moss sprayed down in a small enclosure for about their 1st year/year and a half. They do great with a large constantly fresh deep water dish and a hide with some of the moss in it to make a mini sauna. Love to burrow as hatchlings.
JR Wood & Metal I’ve had good luck making a moist hide and using repti chip and spagnum moss on top of the substrate. They love it. It’s not until they are a couple years old that they should be moved into a larger enclosure. I learned a lot from one of the top breeders for BRBs and all his advice has been spot on.
Ike Lightner I have a 150 gallon with a repti fogger and reptichip and moss on top of that. Also a huge water bowl as they love to soak. Important to always give them FRESH water. My enclosure may be overkill but my adult female loves it. She’s very docile. Currently about 6 feet.
I never let my snakes get longer than the enclosure. I know technically they can have smaller but my preference if I have a 6 foot snake it's getting MINIMUM 6 foot enclusre....preferably 8. My opinion if you can't give your snakes a nice enclusre to a you shouldn't have them. My opinion

What temperatures do you use during the day and what do you use at night for the Rainbow Boa???
Got the humidity on 99%
Hi there,
Could you tell me what temperature you have in the terrarium an day and night ? I from spain
i think i might get on of these (:
Question: Mine has entered into it's third shed in a row. It hasn't eaten in a while. What is going on? It is a juvenile...40 inches.
Is it still ok if theres no condensation on the plastic tub?or should i cover some more vents?
I heard you produce great animals and I would love to get a brb from you... But sadly I live on the other side of the world.
So in a Woodern cage maybe spray twice a day to keep that Humidity up? As i only spray once for my BCI & he seems happy.

thanks for watching Reptivision, you are cool too!!! I will try to make more soon
For an adult rainbow boa what size tank would work?
I would suggest a minimum of 3 x 2 feet of floor space
