@@kellymande3521 it can never be England, this place has some of the most horrible quality homes I have ever seen. Coupled with tiny everything, small windows that won't allow in enough ventilation, small doors, small entranceways,low ceilings, poor quality finishings. Even if a house is brand new no matter how well you look after it and clean it, the fittings start breaking down, cracks appear in the walls, skirting boards start to detach from the walls. The list is endless. Scotland should please come and start building good livable homes in England with more windows for ventilation and high ceilings.
The wooden floors have captured my heart, because I grew up with parquet flooring in Zambia where I am from.
Zambia also has beautiful homes ❤️

That's a beautiful home. But, as usual in UK it lacks of security. Not even an armored entry door, unprotected windows...I wouldn't buy until getting security features.
It is lovely I think if you want some extra/specific features its best to speak to the builders but most of the times you find that they have specific requirements that they can't go over. One option though is to put the extra features once you move into the property.

We have indeed very specific needs like inwards opening windows and outside roller shutters. Builders don't do it in UK, we have to do this by our own with a private society.
Armored doors aren't common too but we can find this.
@@enlilw-l2 why do you need armoured doors, who are you running from that you want armoured doors. Britain is not an out of control violent society. I live here and have been for 26 years. I have never been robbed once. Do you know what even the authorities here would wonder whether you are a high profile drug dealer who needs armoured doors. Be careful what you ask about. This country is quite safe.
