It's time for an Audi RS7 vs Aventador drag race! ...No, we didn't think we'd ever end up writing that, either.
But this is a drag race with a difference! Mat's found himself in the Audi RS7, which has been tuned to deliver 700hp and a whopping 1,000Nm of torque!! What's more, with it being the older generation, it comes in relatively cheap, costing around £40,000.
As for the Aventador SV? Well you'd be able to buy several RS7s for the price of one of these, with it being worth approximately £315,000!! And while it may have 50hp more than the Audi, it's way down on torque, clocking in at 690Nm. So is the RS7 set to spring a surprise on everyone? You'll have to keep watching to find out!

@@OscarMaris £40,000 for an RS7 is an incredible deal. You can get a C7 RS6 for the same cash if practicality is an issue.
Always believe you can,people that can afford it now was once like you. Everything is based on believe.
You have to appreciate the performance of that RS7 (tuned or not)-value for money I would say.

@Richard kok remember that Audi is tuned ..without the tune even if it was the stock Quattro.. it still wouldn't stand a chance against that lambo ..So yes in this race the Audi did well but .. but only because of the massive tune it got..
I’d like to see the ABT RS7-R in that race.
The Audi did great considering it's a saloon but it seems to need an upgrade to its gearbox as well.
It’s a ZF8 transmission. It’s rated for 1,000 hp. This is just a stage 1 RS7.

I was so close to get the RS7 6 yr ago, but no middle seat, got the S8 instead, did the same 700HP tune, it has been awesome! Not sure if that 100KG extra weight would make it much slower than the RS7...
i have driven 700hp s8 , rs7 and rs6 , clearly the rs7 is better you can feel the weight in the acceleration there is a difference

I was really surprised on the RS7's performance with a simple tune. Only 100 HP more than stock so that's a deal, (compared to the Lambo) which is all around fast.
